What was going through your head while Twilight was transforming?

I was like "What in Equestria is going on?!" I mean, seriously.... What was going on?! I was going through my thoughts asking many questions and didn't know any answers!

First of all I was blown away by Celestia's Ballad it was unexpected and beautiful. I really enjoyed the presentation of twilight's past and the loving tone of the song, it genuinely touched me and still does. When the transformation happened I was just thinking on how well done the sequence was. The hair blowing and swirling energy that emerged from twilight was reminiscent of a Disney sequence.

I absolutely loved Celestia's Ballad I thought it was a very emotional and well presented scene.. It's one of the scenes that actually made me shed Liquid Pride.

As for Twilight's transformation I felt really happy and proud for her

i felt so mentally unprepared, like someone had just pulled a rug out from under me.. the episode went by WAY too fast, and too much happened in too short an amount of time. as i watched her tranformation, my heart kinda sunk in disappointment because i knew that there was only a few more minutes left in the episode, and those few minutes would not be enough to quell any of my worries about what's going to happen in the future. the episode didn't bring any new information. (we all knew it was gonna happen) it was just a matter of waiting for the episode to see how her transformation plays out and how it affects her and the dynamics of the show. I had all been hanging on that for security. people told me "wait and see, maybe it won't be so bad"i wish it never happened. this wait for the next season is unbearable. so basically, her transformation gave me anxiety because it occured so late in the episode, and it didn't ease any of my concerns.

"Well, here it comes. Brace yourself DF, winter/rage is coming. Given time left in the episode as well as the general vibe, odds of her going back to normal here seem minimal. Mr. Larson, make me ok with this. I sincerely hope you can."

Something like that.

Me: Well, that was pretty cool. I wonder what all the other bronies thought about this.

*Finds pages and pages of comments saying how much of a horrible idea this is*

Me: Everyone chill out. This has potential to be a good idea.

That was also my reaction to Equestria Girls, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms.

Since I knew what was going to happen ahead of time, my heart was beating with excitement even though I oppose the transformation.

I'll admit I didn't like it, but I was pretty excited to see it happen.

I'm still suffering from depression from that episode. Nothing has worked so far, not friends, not group therapy, not even a trip to Disneyland could get me out of my funk.

I'm not gonna lie, even though I was (and still am) against the alicorn transformation, Celestia's song and the flashbacks actually warmed me up to the event. It's kinda weird, I didn't want to see it happen and yet I was eager to see it happen at the time.

Things returned to normal after it actually happened though. It just felt like everything just happened so quick. Oh, and I couldn't help but stare at Twilight's new wings for the rest of the episode; I don't think she folded them even once. Isn't tiring to walk around with your wings constantly spread like that? huh.png

The episode whizzed by making me wonder if I was a bit drunk, then ended with a completely unexpected and as far as I could see unnecessary transformation of my dear Twilight into...wtf?

I watched it again to see if it made more sense, and it didn't, and I really didn't like the whole 'musical' feel to it, and still don't like either the episode, or the transformation.

Its depressed me severely (since MLP as a show is supposed to lift me out of my usual depression) but I have accepted that maybe the writers of season 4 might be able to rescue things...maybe
