Thanks~ I'm not sure what to draw next, more Crop-Shopped ponies or maybe go back to the original style and do some stuff with that? Who knows.  And you should totally post some, I'd love to see!

Heh, I thought the desaturation worked well with the style. I'm not as happy with Flutter's mane and tail, and her eye makes her look emo, but her wings and her pose makes me happy.

 

So... Did you drool? 

Oh, I sorta thought you were going for a slightly more evil fluttershy.  The short hair,  eyes, and hoofrub up front sorta made it seem like she was scheming.    Guess art really is how you interpret it ....

Try not to think about the names, just Choose a base word and start adding modifyers.  Ponies have silly names anyway.  Like all three of those names I made by looking around my room. Peach is the colour of a spray bottle on my table,  spray is that too,  and bookworm because of my Bookcase.  I shall take your challenge for an antagonistic peachy *gets pencil out.

I always liked strampunk steampunk pony designs. Let's see, he's around the age of the mane6 and he's an earth pony; his cutie mark represents his mechanical skills and he's always making things that either don't work right all the time or are near-useless. But he's good at making them. So what if he's generic, he's pretty and I like the final result.

Yeah, his wings sort of work. Most of the time he can get by with flying a few feet above a surface, but sometimes they malfunction. And he still can't touch the clouds like a Pegasus, but he's... working on that. Heheh

Man, I love that attitude! And the top hat, but mostly the fact that you take the bull by it's horns!  Have you looked up any references yet?

I use references,  but only so far.  

 

First - Try it on my own with construction lines and everything. 

 

 

If that doesn't produce the desired result, I'll peek at a reference,  but even then,   I only draw construction lines from it.   So with this hat,   I dint' reference, I just redrew it....about 14 times.  (yay rubber!)  Each time it moved slightly, changed shape etc.

 

Usually I don't worry so much and just keep my errors, but this one is for presentation so it's gots to be right.

With a stylus, actually And I blurred the earth like that on purpose because of how camera's focus The focus is on luna, so everything else gets blurred in the background
