Return of Harmony

Everypony knew that the six bearers of the Elements of Harmony werent immortal, so the day that they passed on, though saddening, was not surprising. What was a surprise, was what came afterward... Nopony thought Discord would rise again, they thought he was finally done for, but they were wrong... He rose back into power... with a vengance... He attacked Equestria with no mercy, anypony that crossed his path lived to tell the tale. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna tried to find another six to bear the Elements, but none were found, distraut, the princesses went into hiding, and Discord took rule of Equestria. To solidify his role as the new ruler, Discord created the Elements of Disharmony, six minions with an element of evil, each being the opposite of one of the Elements of Harmony. A hundred years later, Equestria is in ruins, Discord and his elements have left the land devoid of life, all ponies have either died or gone into hiding, all have lost hope to find any bearers of the Elements of Harmony... All except one... he hopes to reunite the elements, to defeat Discord and his elements, and to bring peace once more... will you help him?

Description : Rose was abandoned in the woods by her parents when she was a filly, forcing her to live on her own for years. She learned how to survive, and put up a shell around her heart to make sure she is never hurt again. She found a love from plants due to the fact that she can love them and that they will never leave her. She now runs the floral shop in Ponyville.

Setting up the last of the flowers in her shop, Rose smiled at the arangement she had made. All of her fauna were in their own locations, all recieving their propar care to stay beautiful. Satisfied with her work, she walke over to the door of her shop and turned the sign to show open on the outside. Turning around, she trotted behind her counter and waited for anypony to visit her shop.

(Ok we can go ahead and start, last minute thing, there are still civilizations trying to live in the destroyed equestria, as shown in Rose's post, you can start anywhere in Equestria you like, I almost forgot to mention, when you obtain your element, it can have the ability to change into one weapon of your choice, enjoy!)

 

Cloud Chaser flew through the night sky, he knew it wasnt safe but he was in a hurry, and was certain he was being followed. He pumped his wings harder as he tried to get away from his unseen assailant, but to no avail. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a shadowy figure speed towards him , he quickly dove, Dang!! One of Darkness' shadow minions!!, he thought to himself, he tried to get away, not having anything to defend himself with. He thought he had gotten away, but there was a loud Crash, and a bolt of lightning hit Cloud, causing him to scream in pain before blacking out, he began freefalling down to the ground... The shadow minion watched as Cloud fell, a smile on its dark face as it turned to leave...

Ampyrion concentrated hard on the pile of various junk balancing in front of him. "Ah, cmon," he muttered. He strained with all of his might. His horn didn't respond, and neither did the pile in front of him. He sat back and sighed. "Okay, maybe I should try a different method." He curled up in a ball and tried to concentrate again, but it was no use, his focus was shattered. Maybe...maybe I could go outside and meet some new pony friends...nah, they'll just reject me...He curled back up into a ball, and peeked through the window, where the outside sun shone like a beacon on all of Ponyville, lighting up even his dark room.

Nickname: Nidal

Age: 100. Looks to be about 23.

Species: Pegasus

Description: Green coat with moss green mane. Black eyes. Cutie mark is that of a single golden coin.

Personality: Nidal cares about nothing more than herself. She will assist or hurt those in her way to gain any type of wealth. She likes to cause others pain and suffering for no reason better than that it's fun to watch. On the other hoof, she's not above saving others if it means they have to pay her back.

Element: Greed

Weapon of Choice: Rapier. Held by strapping it on to the hoof at which point my jabs are rapier attacks.

Nidal had watched the silver pegasus swivel away upon noticing her supposed ally's minion and soon after began free falling to the ground. She smiled as she bolted away from her cloud, doing a vertical turn and flying near the silver pegasus, catching him. She had caught him in a way that he would be unable to fly himself until she let go, and she used that to her advantage. He should not be certain who she was as she had remained hidden for the most part about who she was, even when she was sure nobody was around. She didn't like to take orders from Discord, especially seeing that he didn't pay.

 

As she was gliding down to the ground, she spoke, "My, my. You're an unlucky one, aren't you? Don't worry, I've got you." She flapped her wings once to level off with the ground and set the unconscious pegasus down on the ground. She flapped once more and jumped into the air, turning around as she did so, and landed facing him. She sat down and proceeded to wait for him to wake up. The rapier that she could summon at will was across her back, so as to allow her to fight with it without revealing her element.

Cloud Chaser slowly regained conciousness, pain coursing through his back where the lightning struck him. He groaned as he woke, I...Im alive?, he thought to himself, he shook his head so as to clear the fogginess from his vision and mind, it was then that he saw the pegasus in front of him, seeming to have been waiting for a while. He quickly stood up, not knowing what to expect from her, "Uh... who are you?" he asked, casting a wary eye on her.

Nidal raised an eyebrow questioningly before shrugging it off. "After you got hit by the lightning, I swooped in and caught your flank before it hit the ground with a shattering crunch, but I digress, my name is Golden Needle, or Nidal for those familiar with me, and I'm a merchant that saw you falling while going to the next town. No wares right now, other than my own personal rapier though, a little, how would one say, broke. A better question, though, is who are you and what were you doing here?" She stayed sitting down and looking at his eyes, looking for anything to be said through them instead of his words.

Cloud didnt really like the way this 'merchant's' eyes read him, as if he was just an open book. He didnt really know if he could trust this pegasus, but she had just saved his life, "Well... thank you for saving me... uh, as for me being out here, I..." he quickly thought of something to say, "I was traveling trying to find any town that was still standing, couldnt find any shelter before the sun went down and one of those shadow minions started chasing me". Cloud decided not to give any reason as to why it was chasing him, not wanting to reveal what was in his saddlebag, which he silently tightened without her noticing, "If you want... I can fix that rapier for you, as payment for saving me"

Nidal saw his eyes shift for a moment, showing her he wasn't telling the full truth. She reached behind her and clamped the rapier onto her hoof. She swung it out of its sheath and leveled it off with the pegasus's face. "Fix my rapier? I believe you misinterpreted my words." She pulled it back after a minute, letting him study it and see that it wasn't broken before she sheathed it. "My rapier is in fine condition. I had meant that I, personally, was a broke merchant. I have no money hence I have no wares." She flapped her wings once, sending her into a standing position. She turned and looked out across the terrain. "So you don't know where the nearest town is? That's unfortunate." Her element beat inside her once, nothing on the surface changing, and she felt how important whatever was in those bags were to the pegasus. "Do you at least have enough provisions to survive out here in those bags of yours?"

 

((What reason does Cloud have to be wary of Nidal? For the most part, she should look only curious. Please don't use your OOC knowledge that Nidal is greed to influence Cloud's thoughts.))

Cloud gulped as he saw the rapier ponited toward him, "Oh... excuse me for my misinterpretation..." he relaxed a little as it was sheathed again, "Well... I have enough previsions for three days, I never expect to stay out here not much longer since I can travel pretty fast in flight..." as he stepped back, the jingle of a small bag of coins could be heard in his saddlebag, Crap, he thought to himself...

Nidal didn't show any facial expression with the sound of money, but it did make her interest in the colt grow. She nodded af his response and looked in a different direction. "You're trying to find a nearby town, right? There's a relatively close one around here, if you're willing to let me guide you, I can." She turned to face him away, breaking from looking in the wrong direction to go to where she mentioned.

 

Nidal gave him a smile that she had practiced until it looked like real happiness. "I'd like some company myself, as I'm sure you do." Her eyes lost the careful watch she had previously and instead showed that her request was genuine.

Cloud nodded, relaxing a little at the offer of help, "Uh actually I would really appreciate that... thanks" he saw her smile, it seemed genuine, so he slightly smiled back, "By the way... My name is Cloud Chaser"

 

(Just a quick update to anyone wanting to join, we have all elements of harmony taken, the elements of disharmony that are still available are Dishonesty, Hatred, Betrayal, Darkness, and Despair. Quick note about the elements of disharmony, these caracters are basically the living form of these elements that were created by Discord, they are immortal, but can be defeated by the elements of Harmony)

Nidal nodded and looked at a different direction from before. "Follow me, CC. The town's Ponyville, maybe you've heard of it?" She took off and began to fly at a slight elevation. She flicked her head sideways, as if something had bothered her face, and looked back forward.

 

The signal was seen by Darkness's minion at a good distance to not be easily noticeable by Cloud and began to fly faster than Nidal, intending to cut her off eventually but currently going parallel.

Cloud Chaser nodded and took off to follow her, "Yeah... I've heard of Ponyville, wasnt that the home of the original bearers of the elements of Harmony?" Cloud noticed her head flick, but thought nothing of it, Mustve been a fly or something, he thought to himself.

"Supposedly. I was quite surprised when I first heard that. I would think a monster like Discord would take out the home of those who stopped him." She looked down at the ground and then back up, the second signal.

 

The minion saw the signal and began to turn to get into their way. It appeared several meters ahead of them.

 

Nidal stopped and looked at it. "Was this the thing that attacked you?"
