Seriously, I do!

 

I'm a newish artist and I want to do as much drawing as possible, so post your OC (or another pony, I don't care) and I'll start working on it!

 

WARNING: I am a slow artist. Perfectionism is a cruel mistress.

I'm interested in making friends with other artists and in helping other artists improve. In relation to this topic, I'll give you a theme. Draw this: A pony in movement. This should be challenging. Even I need to practice these. Wish you luck! I suggest Pinkie Pie for obvious reasons. But it's your choice. Wish you luck.

To answer your questions, yes I'm still doing these (I just started yesterday), it takes around two hours per sketch (I'm slow), yes I want to improve (very much so), I encourage criticism, and the body is in between the floor boards of an old Soviet-Era bunker near Stalingrad.

 

Shout out to all bronies who have/will want me to draw their OC. I usually do one or two drawings a day due to schoolwork and life. Be patient, I promise your OC will get drawn. It just might take a while.

Ah, yes. Sketches. What would you consider a sketch? For me, a sketch is the basic form of the final thing, something that will help you reach the end. For me, sketches are dirty and messy, but are still very time-consuming. Your sketches seem to be more clean. Do you erase all of the unnecessary lines when you've got the outline? I sort of do that, except I draw over them a little more when working traditionally. Here's sort of what I do that I consider a sketch: http://sta.sh/01tg76tpaqhf

 

Sketches, in my definition of them, take 30-60 minutes. What you're doing that you call sketches, compared to that, isn't really that slow. I take about 8-24 hours in drawing anything from beginning to end. You're not that slow, is my point.

 

It's good to know you're willing to improve and accept criticism. I'll try my best to help.
