Scootaloo - "If You Could See My Face"/Two Rainbows

This is my first pony drawing in like a month. But I'm happy with how it came out. 

 

Scootaloo is no longer a blank flank, and two ponies are looking down on her with pride, and she knows it.

 

 

Since Scootaloo is one of my favorite ponies, I've always been curious about what happened to her parents. Assuming she is an orphan under similar circumstances as Applejack, this is inspired by the "two stars" reference in Apple Family Reunion concerning the nature of Applejack's parents. However, in this case, it is two rainbows. 

 

This is also inspired by "Smiling" by Hi Rez. It's a rather bittersweet song, which is the feeling I was trying to get at in this picture. (Mild language warning)

 

I'm not really sure where to take it from here. I'm thinking of either finishing the coloring (I never colored my sketches before, maybe it's time to change that ) or vectoring it. Maybe both. Thoughts?

 

BTW, criticism is welcome and wanted!

This is really great! I love how you made her cry, but she's happy at the same time!

 

And the cutie mark you gave her is the best cutie mark I've seen given to Scootaloo. I love this!

This is a beautiful drawing. I don't normal like scoot but this is a definite exception. My one issue is the background. Cloudsdale looks a bit... off but that's a challenge to begin with. I also like the choice of cutie mark.

I really love it, It looks quite beautiful, I can actually feel the emotion kinda come off it. Everything looks well drawn to .

 

I think if you color it it'll look even better, but it already looks pretty good i'd say, can't really notice anything I'd change.

 

I'd love to see it colored for sure. It'd look pretty sweet, but regardless a great job . Much better then I could do .

Originally I was planning on doing just kind of a cloud field, but drawing Cloudsdale just kinda...happened. And yeah, it's a pain to draw. Maybe if I go back and clean things up a bit the spacial properties will be better.
