@Warith, um, that was a hideously shameful ploy for attention. You've got to let stuff develop naturally - or, at least, that's how I thought roleplaying was supposed to go. Just jumping off a balcony is pretty silly. And I don't think was godmodding at all, her character was reacting in a normal fashion. How on earth would you react if someone in front of you just randomly decided to stand on a railing and flail around? You'd get 'em down! xD

 

Anyway, just my two bits.

@Warith, um, that was a hideously shameful ploy for attention. You've got to let stuff develop naturally - or, at least, that's how I thought roleplaying was supposed to go. Well it was my event and yes your right people would react like that but the right thing to do would be too reach out but not necessarily save me right away. I didn't in sense give the permission to be saved and what was wrong with a little interesting event? My character has nothing going for him. So I thought i would pop that in there. Yes your right it was a shameful ploy, so what? It would be something my OC does because he doesn't give a fuck. I mean look at my profile pic does it look like he gives a fuck?

Sorry, that was mean. Still, I just get a tiny bit upset since I was very good and quiet yesterday when nobody mentioned Cliff, and had to spend the whoooole day reading other people's posts, politely waiting for someone to mention my OC, and then another person just...jumps off a cliff. :/

Well you have to realize my OC has gotten the least attention first off and second off  I meant that is you can't be a superhero  all the time and when it is situation like that, the rights to what happens is given to thee vent maker does that make sense? If I wanted to be saved it should gone like this. You post that you attempt to save me and then I confirm that in my post. Besides what if you miss? What if you couldn't reach me time? Yes your character was right to act how they did but restricting  to the parties involved. So I repeat again, does that make sense? Sorry if I came off mean but I meant for this event to be more of a story filler, not a debate on OOC, on who can do what :/

 

Also it looks like I pissed a lot of people off today, just great.

Not suicidal just a really, really bad sense of humor. He also is a bit of a daredevil which is a another factor. Ponies can't be perfect. Also yes I did just make this RP more interesting.

'Course not. I mean, Cliff's got a major daredevil complex, mostly because he can't back down from a challenge and he looooves impressin' the ladies. But when the time comes for him to show off his skills (and it'll come soon, I hope), I'm going to make it clear why he's doing it, instead of just randomly doing something and waiting for a response.

 

And you haven't pissed me off at all, don't worry. I'm still a noob at roleplaying, it just seemed to...well, kind of come out of nowhere. And I think it's possible to insert yourself into a conversation without, um, throwing yourself off a cliff. :3

Also to explain it further, role playing out a scene does not have to be resolved instantaneously. A mere few seconds can be played over a bunch of posts or hours. Example: In roleplay world it has only been a half hour in our time it has been few days. Seriously though, this hoover dam trip took forever.
