Congratulations, winner! You have won our "Lucky Pony" contest! For your prize, you and 7 other ponies receive an all-expense paid trip to Las Haygas for one week, staying in the glorious "Wynny" hotel/casino! We hope to see you there!

 

All right, ponies! This is a romance RP! ...I really can't say much after that, so here are the rules!

 

RULES (which I wanted to put in purple)

 

1. Just because this is Las Haygas doesn't mean to go overboard on alcohol and "those moments". Keep those to a low minimum, ESPECIALLY "THOSE MOMENTS".

 

2. I'm not accepting alicorns. However, if they would abide to being either a unicorn or a pegasus, then I will accept them.

 

3. Following Rule 2, I'll review EVERYONE'S OC to make sure we have no signs of Mary Sues and Gary Stus in this. (If you RPed with me before, you're not being held above this rule.)

 

4. ABSOLUTELY NO GODMODDING. Any form of this and you will be kicked out of the RP.

 

5. EXCEPTIONAL GRAMMAR IS A MUST. If you slip up with a word here and there, I'll let it slide. But, if it's a recurrence with your posts, I must ask you to leave the RP.

 

6. Since this is a romance RP, I'm throwing this out here. Please don't set up same-gender relationships unless you receive special permission from me. 

 

7. Keep any and all RP references to a minimum (Meaning, if your character has RPed with another character in the past, and you want for them to remember who they were, try to keep down anything that they had performed in the past.).

 

8. NPCs are free for anyone that would like to be controlled (like a dealer for a table, or a waitress). 

 

9. Please stay active. What I mean is, try to at least post once a day. It's extremely rude for someone to keep another hanging without letting them or me know that you'll be gone for X amount of time.

 

10. Even though this says Romance RP, you're not restricted to your mate. Interact with other ponies!

I'm actually considering using her as my online persona in replacement of Descant/Encore, just due to the fact that her personality is just so much more well defined, and she's a memorable character altogether. I just don't really know what to do with Encore. I keep trying to narrow his character and talents, but then I find myself portraying him as a Renaissance Man Pony.

 

And I'm debating on whether she should be tidied up from the start in this RP, or if she should appear in Haygas in her usual shabby state in the beginning. Would she even be allowed in, coated in soil as she usually is?

Hmm interesting. I've never really tried that many romance RPs before, maybe like one or two. Thing is my OC isn't quite made for stuff like this but a good character should be able to work in almost any scenario right? I'll think about it and get back to you once I've made a decision.

If the need arises, I can swap Evergreen out for the sisters Moonstruck and Sunburst. 

 

Could be a good test run for them. Although I'd still like to get Evergreen back in these types of RPs...

Question, how many characters can we use? Just one, or should I make a mare as well to even out the balance?

Usually, everyone uses one OC. If there are some cases, some people double up with two OCs. For right now, unless I'm not getting anyone else to join quickly, everyone is restricted to one OC, hence why I'm making Flareon hold off with the sisters, and having him stick to Evergreen.

Cliff's character is actually fairly well defined. I kinda like it, and he should be interesting to RP with.

 

Eve's character has shifted somewhat since I originally created her character and page, and I need to get around to updating it a bit. Along with the rest of them, now that I think about it. You can check out my ask thread if you want to get to know her a bit better. It's in my sig.

 

I'm fairly certain she wouldn't take too kindly to just suddenly being flirted with in public upon meeting this guy, just so you know. Umbreon, you remember what happened with Stacy in the SSR, at the talent show. Yeah, that might not work out too well for Cliff if he takes that route.
