Hmm, hopefully they give some logical reason. Having him around for whatever reason could prove for a good episode me thinks.

Maybe he he just disappeared one day and used a time/age spell to stay whatever age he was when he used it? Thus living forever and able to visit Ponyville as it is now.

 

Could have magically frozen himself, preserving his body until the future?

And Discord originally being a pony needs an even better explanation on how he was mixed with multiple animals.

I'm no good with external drives, so I can't give anything helpful.

 

The only thing I can say is that I have a Seagate drive, much smaller than yours of course, and the port into the drive itself has pushed in rendering it completely useless and losing all that was on it unless I can find someplace to fix it.

I haven't had it for a full year me thinks, but possibly close to it. I don't exactly remember when my mother gave it to me.

 

Of course, that could just be bad luck on my part, as I've only had one I can't say it happens often with them, but yeah.

There were some rumors a little bit ago about a Star Swirl episode when someone leaked what they claimed were some lines of dialogue from said episode.

 

I don't have the source, but I remember three things from it:

 

A) It's the Omniomorphic Spell, not Amniomorphic. Star Swirl insults Twilight for getting it wrong, too.

 

2) Star Swirl is evil (and has a personality similar to Discord).

 

and C) Star Swirl might not have always been a pony...

Also, if I have to have 100 characters to make my post what's to stop me from just making a 100 character signature? It seems like a very republican party thing to do.
