Question: why is the plural for tooth teeth, and goose geese, and foot feet? Shouldn't it be moose-meese, floor-fleer, food-feed, bassoon-basseen, pool-peel, door-deer, spoon-speen, baboon-babeen, hook-heek, tool-teel, loop-leep, cook-ceek, flood-fleed, room-reem, wood-weed, and school-scheel?

Because that is not how it is, not all plurals are the same! It's like that in most languages I am certain. xD But you need any weed? I got lots of weed for you! <-- -chuckle chuckle- (for wood)

I think the biggest contender for most irregular/bizarre English plural is person-persons-people-peoples. It should actually be person-persons, but... something weird happened.
