I'm not exactly the music person but I do have about 13 songs I like. My number 1 favorite out all of them is called "Making Christmas." Yes, the song from the best Tim Burton movie ever. I have a strong taste for weird things and such. Anything you guys listen too that you find odd?

Some of the out-there songs I listen to aren't really all that "weird" so much as...well, just overall strange choices for cover songs, given the nature of the bands performing them.

While this isnt necessarily "weird", it's the one song that kind of stands apart from my regular collections. It just feels a bit odd when it starts playing as it's the only music of this type amongst a sea of classical music and video game remixes.

Syd Barrett, Radiohead

 

Syd Barrett and Radiohead are both awesome . Piper at the Gates is my favorite floyd album, gotta love Syd's influence on that one.

 

For me, my favorite band (Grateful Dead) is what most would refer to as weird. Anthem of the Sun, Live/Dead are both especially awesome. (especially the St.Stephen/The Eleven/Lovelight jam session that lasts nearly 40 minutes). 

 

Alligator is probably the least strange track from Anthem of the Sun, haha, but the jam half way through till the end is fantastic.

 

New Potato Caboose... again, all about the jam, this one is a ton more mellow.

Probably the weirdest I have. It's not really because of the instrumentation, it's just not really like anything else I listen to. I really do love the fact that the bass line is a bass clarinet, though. Best bass ever! lol

The wierdest i probly listen to is 19-2000 by the gorrilaz. Heck even the band is wierd, the bassist is a satinist, the guitar player is a 13 year old girl sent to them in a fedex box( can shred like no one else), the drummer is possesed by his dead friends, and the singer is dead brained. And what makes them even wierder is that they are all animated.
