ReGen 1,466 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 Music has a big impact on people's feelings, do they not? I always say music makes me happy. And while that's true, music also makes me feel. I don't mean sad or depressed, just emotional. This song definitely makes me feel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjli3hj0ZkM Ooooh, this too: How 'bout you? 4 "I keep the walking on the right side, but I won't judge the next who handles walking on the wrong. . eris . 1,661 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 (edited) This may be odd, and it's definitely old timey-country, but these two songs kind of choked me up the first time I heard them. I know plenty of songs that make me feel like dancing, and I'm not usually one for lyrics, but I do love these two songs. :3 Edit: Forgot this one. Oh man, I'm listening to it again and I'm reminded how much I love Tim McGraw. (Another old country song, as a pre-warning if you hate it. <3) Edited April 18, 2013 by Earl Grey 1 Zatiko Cliff Chaser Sprocket Peppery Mint Tell Me What You Think Of Me
NightOwl 913 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 I find that movie soundtracks have a lot of emotion in them these ones in particular. Lord of the Rings "May it be": And Gladiator "Now we are free" 7 Signature by me avatar by Azura.

There are probably a good few more to add to this list but these are the immediate ones that come to my mind. A Head Butt is just a more confrontational meeting of the minds. Modphase 1,274 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 (edited) The effect Isolation can have on a person is more than it seems... It's frightening when you realize how fast things can change. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqSzmVc79D4 When traveling along the desolate, lonely wastelands of the Mojave desert at night, this song can really get to you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcL---4xQYA There's not much of an explanation needed to tell that this song has some serious feels. Love*Potion 575 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 I don't really know why I like this song, but it's interesting. The theme isn't particularly "happy", but it makes you think. Plus the catchy chorus gets stuck in your head 2 Meet my OC's : Honeycomb and Kismet
Blue Moon 6,345 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 Whenever I listen to the song, Strawberry Swing by Coldplay, I always start feeling really good and happy and peaceful. Whenever I listen to the Dead Island trailer theme, I always start feeling sad and cry a bit. Whenever I listen to The Smile Song, I am instantly put into a good mood and can't help myself from smiling. Music is Awesome. 1 Autumn Blue Moon Clear Skies Summer
TheTEChguy27 273 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 (edited) I love a lot of songs, and there are many that make me "feel", but the only one that always gives me goosebumps is Hey Jude by The Beatles. Particularly the chorus that beings around 3:08 and continues for the rest of the song. The Beatles were the first band I was ever introduced to, and this song was always a family favorite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfTrthOpKCA If you want to know why I chose this song in particular, it's a bit of a sad story... I have a sister named Leah, who had a terminal disease called "Batten's Disease". It basically caused her to lose most of her motor control (to the point where she couldn't walk and needed a wheelchair), become blind, and eventually lose cognitive ability to the point where she became mentally retarded. She died when she was only 15 (I was 6 at the time), but I still remember Hey Jude being one of her favorite songs ever (she always called it "Hey Dude"). She might have been mentally retarded and blind, but she had a very acute sense of hearing and was very capable of expressing her love for music. Every time I listen to this song, I think of her, especially during the "Naaaa naa naa nanananaaaa" bit that everyone knows. It seriously gives me goosebumps every time I hear it, and is currently the only song that can legitimately make me cry if I listen to it enough. Even though Hey Jude isn't necessarily my favorite song of all time, or even my favorite Beatles song, it holds a special place in my heart. All the feels, man, all the feels. On a side note, I've always wanted to listen to the song in a concert, with the entire crowd singing along. That would be incredible. Shanks 10,817 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 Like I have said on here many times I am a sucker for a good redemption story so this song appeals to me on that alone, and it reminds me of my Grandma This song was used to defeat Gigue/Giygas in Mother1 or Earthbound Zero as it is know in the US And here is the original Rarity Get's Cockroaches
Jadefire 2,798 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 Partly has to do with how this song was used on Scrubs, and also partly has to do with some personal reasons I don't really care to disclose. 2 Ponysona bio, here.
-BleachedOne- 233 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 (edited) On my better days, it's anything punky and upbeat, like a random New Found Glory song or something. Why my mood music fluctuates is beyond me. *shrug* Punk music...just has a way with me, for some reason. I quite like the lyrics that deal with loneliness and heading out on your own, and finding your own ways to deal with life's hardships. Songs like High School Never Ends by Bowling for Soup and Dammit by Blink-182 really put life into perspective for me. . eris . 1,661 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 Something new. I heard this song for the first time about ten minutes ago, and I can't stop listening. I'm actually getting a little sick thinking about it. I've never been in a serious relationship, but it's making me frightened of being in one. I hope I never hurt anyone this badly. Blue Moon 6,345 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 (edited) Viva La Vida by Coldplay always makes me feel somewhat emotional. I cannot specifically give a description of the feeling, but... meh ~Colgate I love that song and the band. It is probably one of my favorite songs of all time. It makes me feel powerful but then it feels me with regret and sorrow. There are a lot of conflicting emotions present in that song. Another song that has a lot of emotion is My Immortal by Evanescence. This song is just so beautiful and makes me feel sad. angrysalamence 49 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 Hmm, theres so many songs that I love. But theres only a few that make me feel. I would guess it would be the Spirit of Fire OST from Halo Wars title screen and ending. The main reason is that it is used in a sad Halo: Legends episdoe, Homecoming. An Old Head 4,816 April 18, 2013 Share April 18, 2013 (edited) It's an obvious one that's been played everywhere, but Hoppípolla is wonderful. All rise for Earth's national anthem.
