Silverhoof 2,844 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 Daring Doo's Nemesis He is so interesting with a 3rd hand. Looks like he is part ape and part dog. Looks rather Aztec-ish...The DA link names him Ahuizotl. http://shadyhorseman...llery/#/d4ootrq What I'm really asking is for any insider info you guys picked up. Was he just a walk-on villain, or is there a greater story. I know some people here know Lauren Faust's DA page. Any cool tidbits? Yellow Diamond 7,569 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 Lauren Faust has little to do with the second season, so she's unlikely to have any information pertaining to second season events and/or characters. I got the impression he (and the character has a name; I just don't remember it) is just a one-shot villain for Daring-Do. Domine, tu omnia nosti, tu scis quia amo te. Vicke 3,189 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 (edited) He looks like some crossover between animals. Anubis,Gorilla,Horse,Cat,monkey Edited February 7, 2012 by Vicke Signature made by Kyoshi
Tom 891 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 He probably was only a one-shot villain for Daring-Do, just as nospoon said. I'd like to thank the MLP Vector Club for the images used in my avatar. DJ MUFF1N D3RP 322 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 I heard someone else on the forum mention that he is actually taken from Aztec mythology, but that's all I can tell you. I used to be a stranger 7,993 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 Probably the My Little Pony Captain Ersatz of the nemesis Coronado from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Daring Do's motive is obviously "IT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM"
RainPro Dash 9 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 He is pretty funny looking. The shape's fine, just make the whole thing... you know, cooler. It needs to be about 20% cooler.
HanPolo 151 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 He looks cool, and is probably a one shot for Daring Do. But what if he and Discord... Worked together?! (Dun, dun, DUUUUUN!)
Broccoli 127 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 I think he's just a one time villain, like alot of you guys said. Well, maybe they drew him kind of mythicalcreature-like because thinking of ancient temples, ancient people pops into your mind. What did many ancient people draw? Monsters and mythical creatures. Creatures like what? Like Ahuitzotl. So, maybe that's where he came from. -"My little pony, not yours!"
Silverhoof 2,844 February 7, 2012 Author Share February 7, 2012 Thanks guys. I was thinking there was some deeper meaning known only to the writers and fandom. Wah. Still. He's proof that the MLP productioon types have just scratched the surface for cool characters to introduce. GrooveBroove 680 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 He indeed had a interesting look, though not enough was shown of him to make him very interesting IMO.
Eenohay 318 February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahuizotl_(creature) He is a mytological creature. It fitted Daring Do's story. I still wonder why did they put an egipcian statue in an aztec pyramid

Queen Cassie 3,057 February 8, 2012 Share February 8, 2012 Spoof of an Egyptian god is my guess... Nope. As someone else already posted, the villain was a mythological creature from Central American mythology. 1 Used to be known on here as Kyronea. Want to read psychological analyses of the Mane Six? Strafe 594 February 8, 2012 Share February 8, 2012 Looks to me like its half gorilla and half lion with a dog style head only his eyes are on the nose. "The Gods envy us. SXCJ40 125 February 8, 2012 Share February 8, 2012 (edited) it is an aztec mythological creature called the Ahuizotl. It is a mythical human eating dog-monkey with a third hand on it's tail. Jeremy 128 February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 (edited) Well Rainbow being the wonderful example of a cartoon character that she is skipped the first half of the story when she first opened the book. Now in my experience, the introduction is located somewhere within this first half. We'd probably know this antagonist's intentions-heck, we'd probably even know more about Daring-Do herself if she actually started reading on page 1. This is the first of the series like Twilight said. Edited February 9, 2012 by Sweetie Belle Quando omni flunkus moritati
