DusK 1,264 May 13, 2013 Share May 13, 2013 <3 u too @. Back on topic, with a recent posting about Temporal Duality on The Sonic Stadium, I gotta say, I find it very hard to tolerate blind fanboyism, especially when it's coupled with philistinism. I dunno how someone can be so attached to nostalgia that everything about the subject matter is considered utterly sacred and "untouchable". Technicolour Dream (Sunny) 38 May 13, 2013 Share May 13, 2013 Bullies, Bigotry (especially sexual prejudice), people who ask "So you have sex with pans?" when I tell them I'm pansexual, kids who use YOLO, swag, or anything witha hashtag in it, in a vocalized sentence. 2 "Isn't it wonderful that we all exist at the same time?" megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért
Retro*Derpy 3,200 May 13, 2013 Share May 13, 2013 Lack of common sense. Seriously, my parents or elder will tell me to do something by doing it "B" way. Yet I will go off saying how much "C" way will be better, and more efficient, but nooooo we have to do it the way it has always been done. Or better yet, I had a person in my class that thought you could melt metals like steel on a stove top.
Hyacinth 4 May 13, 2013 Share May 13, 2013 Rude people. Especially when they demand things. I'd much rather be asked for whatever than be bossed around by some douche. Shoes on a bed. Or a couch. Or on clothes. When they come into contact with anything but the floor or the ground outside. It makes me crazy, I absolutely hate that. Loud things. They're really freaking irritating. When people forget to turn things off. You are wasting money, you silly bastard. Another obnoxious thing is that there are ponies like, everywhere on the internet. I'm not bashing anyone, so don't get me wrong. It's just that nearly every site I go to- boom! Ponies. I understand there are a lot of fans and all, but is it really necessary for them to be all over the place? It's ridiculous. Certain words I find irritating are: spinach, okie dokie, cole slaw, fresh, dew, can't think of any more right now. Wait, when people call a remote a 'clicker'.
Mood~Whiplash 63 May 13, 2013 Share May 13, 2013 (edited) I honestly find it a bit ironic that people claim to be intolerant of racists, homophobes ect. What do I find intolerant? People who think they know better than everybody else, people who think that their way of doing things is right above all else, people who blather on about their beliefs and what is worng with people and try to justify it with; "Its my opinion, you can't say its worng." Also I'm not too fond of body odor. Edited May 13, 2013 by Solar-Karma 1 "What's that guy's problem?"
Raiden21 804 May 14, 2013 Share May 14, 2013 What I find intolerable are ignorant and unmannerly people. I hate it when people won't accept other people's opinion and they try to make it that they are 100% right. When I mean unmannerly, I don't mean like he used a soup spoon instead of a table soon. I mean it and I really hate it when people talk with food in their mouth and chew with their mouth open. Just watching that can make me lose my appetite. Thank you for the signature Jenny Wakeman. Hyper Tumble 1,483 May 14, 2013 Share May 14, 2013 I personally hate/cannot tolerate teenage society as of late, mostly posting Instagram pictures and Facebook updates that carry little to no substance. It makes me mad when I see YOLO, Swag (although I'll say swag to annoy my little brother, seeing as he feels the same way), useless or over used hashtags, selfies, duck faces, and more general stupidity. I also hate people who have a complete and utter lack of respect for authority. A classmate of mine will cut up and give my (BIBLE teacher, no less) crap and cause interruption after interruption. Every time he gets sent to the Principal, he puts on a face and somehow gets away with it. It is sickening. TheBreech 91 May 14, 2013 Share May 14, 2013 People who act selfishly out of pride. It's one thing to not share what you can spare when you have to work hard to meet your basic needs, but if you're living like a millionaire and refuse to donate to charity, shame on you as a person. Verily British 145 May 14, 2013 Author Share May 14, 2013 @Sinister Lemonz I completely agree when you say that you cannot tolerate my society as of late. I'm finding that lot of teenagers nowadays are slowly becoming more and more illiterate, in favour of a quicker way of writing that just chucks grammar and spelling out the window. I especially hate it when they'll use such a way of speaking when having a conversation face to face. I don't mind that occasional LOL or YOLO when it is appropriate but it's when they start abbreviating everything they say or write. I'm also intolerant towards people that bully or pick on people that are bad at sports or are more intelligent than they are themselves. I've been called posh, POSH, for speaking my language correctly. I'll raise my hand in say chemistry to answer a question to which I will usually give a perfect answer and all the people around me will either snigger or say 'Oh, I wish he'd stop using big words'. And I'll just turn slowly and look at them and say 'difference is not a big word' or something of the like. I'm sorry I just got into a bit of a rant just then. I just find my generation, at least all of the teenagers that I know, to be truly annoying.

. eris . 1,661 May 14, 2013 Share May 14, 2013 All of these people who are claiming they despise the intolerant, aren't you being intolerant of the intolerant, therefore being the hated intolerant themselves? Don't think too hard about that. Your brain will explode. Me, I can't stand people who talk over me. When you're trying to get into a debate with someone, and all they do is talk over you like if they get loud and in your face, that will magically make them right. I've had to clap my hands before and make them have a time out so I can finish talking, like they're little children. After spending a year in college, I've seen first hand plenty of people who have lots of potential but choose to waste it, and it's their own damn fault. I have no sympathy for people who squander their gifts. SCS 7,537 May 29, 2013 Share May 29, 2013 I'm generally fairly laid back and tolerant about people and their behavior. Even if something does annoy me, I usually try to keep it to myself. If someone does or believes in something that I don't like or agree with, that doesn't mean I won't like the person just as long as they aren't harming themselves or others. However, there are things that I do not tolerate. I do not tolerate behavior that is intended to harm others emotionally and/or physically, which includes bullying, whether or not it takes place online. The Man 11 May 29, 2013 Share May 29, 2013 If you may, I'd like to make a point here. You know, I've never seen bronies as a tolerant fandom. I mean, tolerant to the extent where the tolerated likes ponies. I've seen a lot of bronies shoving this up everyone's throats, and as much as I like to conceal my extreme feelings, I hate it. No-one wants to watch ponies, really. There is no other reason than it being a form of escapism for those in need of one, and that's fine for me. If someone happens to stumble upon this, so be it. They can watch the show if they like, or shrug it off as another one of 4chan's weird products. There is no need to force anyone to watch ponies. It's not a groundbreaking miracle, the ultimate truth or a voice of God and justice. It's just a mediocre, occasionally entertaining cartoon for children about magical colourful ponies. So: Bronies. aoEAF2FBvC0MIo2Q 3,673 May 29, 2013 Share May 29, 2013 The idea that God or religion is the answer to everything. The idea that discipline is the answer to everything. The simultaneous belief of free will and "human nature" a.k.a. genetic determinism. The idea that you can make someone "see the light" by being judgmental of them. The idea that politics can fix social problems. Criticizing for the sole sake of talking trash. Is a little substance too much to ask? This has to be the worst of them all; quoting stuff from motivational posters for the sake of giving oneself the appearance of wisdom and experience or doing that to "talk sense" into someone. You don't just walk up to a hurting person and play what you got recorded in that noggin like a cassette recorder. Not only is it very condescending, it's also very inconsiderate. "Hey look, that person's being pessimistic! I don't know why he's feeling down or cynical but if I just spew out enough motivational quotes like an algorithm I won't really need to understand his pain in the first place!"
A. Hesediel 191 May 29, 2013 Share May 29, 2013 Hmm, I admit there are some things that, no matter how hard I try, they still bother me. After some time on the internet, I got used to ignorance and hebetude, sometimes I even try to argue logically with those people untill they disonnect, of course. But here are some things that really grind my gears: -First of all, people who pretend to be gentlemen, when they absolutely aren't; -Second, well, my country;-Third, people in my country; -Fourth, people in my country who don't know English well but they pretend to; -Fifth, the idea that every teenager of this generation is churlish and ill-mannered;-Sixth, people who contemn classical music without any clear reason (if they have good reasons, then it is fine for me); -Seventh, people who maltreat animals. For the rest, I'm okay with almost everything outside this list (even if, I'll probably forgot something). 1 One should always look for a possible alternative, and provide against it. -Sherlock Holmes. Fluttershyfan94 5,744 May 29, 2013 Share May 29, 2013 (edited) I tolerate most things, although I only mean people that have different oppinions and stuff. I'm not mentioning something too horrible, love and tolerate does not mean that we have to tolerate everything blindly. It was only meant to be an answer to the haters, like they shouldn't hate the show, just tolerate it. It does not mean that you have to tolerate everything like some seem to think. But it's more like just being open minded and not start hating on something without giving it a chance and just tolerate it. With that out of the way: What I find intolerable. People that try to force their own beliefs on you, like school does. People that treat cars badly. I try tolerating it, but it really gets on my nerves. I just suffer from it, because I feel it's pain. When I see a car that has obviously had bad owners I just want to give them a rant about how much I dislike how they have treated the poor thing. This is a problem actually because most people treat their cars like it's some kind of object that you just use and nothing else. For me a car is a companion, he is an extension of yourself. If you treat your car badly it just means that there is something wrong with you. Cars only need love and respect, it hurts me seeing how some people seem to not think that way. They just drive it untill it breaks down. It seems like they can't even see the signs when something is wrong with the car. I love and tolerate, but how some people treat their cars.. I just don't know what to say sometimes, I know I shouldn't let it bother me. I love cars and I just have a different connection with them I guess, every car enthusiaist feels that connection. So you who's reading this, if you have a car. Give it a wash, chance the oil, check on the engine, check your transmission, clutch and try to keep your engine bay clean. Because if you care for the car, it can run for a long time. It's very simple to take good care of a car, so why not do so. You can at least do the basics. Know that if you show your car love and respect it will return it. Fhaolan 4,484 May 29, 2013 Share May 29, 2013 Addiction. I *understand* it, because I have the type of personality that can get addicted easily, but that doesn't mean I tolerate it in myself or anyone else. One of the reasons why I was always asked to be the bouncer at the class parties at University; I was more than willing to toss drunks on their ear. Aggressive Ignorance. I view this as different from willful ignorance. Simple ignorance is fixable, and I myself am filled with it. Willful ignorance means you just don't believe you need to know something. That's actually fine too. There are many subjects that I don't care to know anything about, as they don't interest me in the slightest. Sometimes I have to try very hard to not know about a variety of fetishes and similar stuff, because people *insist* on telling me all about them. But when you take that willful ignorance and try to *use* it actively, it passes over into aggressive ignorance and I can't tolerate that.
Wonderbolt_Spitfire 235 May 29, 2013 Share May 29, 2013 I find people who drag their feet to be insufferable. Like honestly no one needs to here you scuff your shoes on the floor or ground.
