I needed to make a Radiohead thread, they are my absolute #1 favorite band of them all. My favorite album of theirs is Kid A with Amnesiac sliding in a close second, though I don't think that Radiohead really have done anything to disappoint me (except for The King Of Limbs, that album was so meh)

Man, I haven't listened to Radiohead in a long time. So I decided to listen to OK Computer right now. 

 

 

I've forgotten how good this album is.

Kind of annoying how worshipping their fanbase is of them, though.

Every fanbase has their fans that worship them, yes some more than others though honestly I don't think that I worship them...at least not as much as others do, and Idioteque nice song choice.

OK Computer is one of their awesome albums, and Airbag is one of my favorites from that album.

B*tch plz, obviously Sonic Youth is the superior band. And this post is relevant because Sonic Youth were an influence to Radiohead.

Damn, I never get sick of this song.

I've actually never heard a song by them. (At least I didn't realize it.) I've eard they're the same style as Coldplay, which is a band I really like. I'll check them out as soon as I can.

I like Creep and Karma Police as songs, just the rest of Radiohead seems too mellow for me. Any Radiohead songs like that? I'd love it.

Coldplay is like a bootleg version of Radiohead (I'm sorry to tell you that), the same way Creed is a bootleg version of Pearl Jam. 

 

Anyways, gonna post some more stuff from OK Computer.

I don't think that they're too similar to Coldplay, but as for a starter album, I would say either The bends or OK Computer then start to work your way up, since albums like Kid A and Amnesiac are a bit tougher to get into.

I don't think that mellow is really the word that you're looking for, at least for some of their songs. Listen to Just, Paranoid Android, My Iron Lung, The Bends, and 2+2=5, you'd probably like those ones.

I'd recommend The Bends. It's not their best album, but it's the most accessible, and still has great songs.

Oh yes, Tom Yorke is a musical genius.  Karma Police, Creep, Paranoid Android.  His songs always an inspiration.  I have recorded live shows in TV programs like David Letterman in old VHS tapes.  Wish I could go to a concert featuring them someday.

Man, I loved the live versions, I really do agree that the songs were much better live than they were in the studio albums.Though the live versions still don't change my opinions on the studio album itself.

Ooh radiohead is great! I just recently started listening to them alot. So far my favorite song is Just, but it seems like every song they do is really good. I wouldn't say they're my favorite, ELO takes first, but they're really close to my top bands of all time. Yay song
