If out of the blue every single person on the planet became a pony even if was say a for two weeks how would you react and how do you think the world would react?

You can explain in great detail or keep it short it's really up to you how you can answer the question. I myself would looooove it especially if it means I can be my ponysona; Swift Hooves

 

as for the rest of the world reacting, uhm I would say everyone (except for the pony fans) would probably freak out...a lot.

 

But before I end up rambling let's hear what you have to say

I honestly would be upset. I would probably hate it. There would be so many things I do that I would be unable to do; no certainty on what kind of pony I'd be either. I wouldn't feel like I am me anymore. I probably wouldn't recognize anyone either.

 

Yeah, I would surely hate it. It's one thing to dream about being a pony; or role playing as one...but it's completely different to be a pony.

 

As for the world...well everyone would go nuts.

I don't think I would mind, but it would probably be a shock at first. I do believe that the essence of our humanity transcends our physical form, so really it doesn't matter what form we take, since we're still who we are. 

 

However, my guess is that everyone in the world changing into any form unexpectedly would freak most people out and result in chaos.

There would be teenage girls panicking about not being able to get on their phones. Not saying every girl, but there are a lot of them at my school who wouldn't be able to properly exist without their phone.

Since this is "out of the blue," then nobody is expecting anything. The world's in for a nasty shock. Those who are performing tasks suited for the human anatomy would suddenly find themselves in extremely awkward, if not dangerous, situations. Assuming one's mind is entirely intact, it's practically impossible to seamlessly transition from human to pony, both physiologically and psychologically. Those who aren't injured or killed--for example, drivers who suddenly turned into ponies--in the initial transformation will undoubtedly be shocked, confused, scared, and lost. Here is an event that defies all logic and science. It's something that simply cannot happen--except it happened.

 

Then the questions would pop up. Scientists wouldn't be able to explain it. Politicians wouldn't, either. Whether human technology is even compatible with pony anatomy is impossible to answer. Do the new ponies have the infamous magical grasping hooves, or are they unable to manipulate the objects around them? Speaking of magical, how will magic play a role? Will people be able to control them? How did everybody turn into fictional ponies? After the initial shock, so many questions would arise, all of which are impossible to answer by anyone in society (except, perhaps, for MLP's creators, and even that's unlikely in a real-life situation). 

 

In the days and weeks following the transformation, society--or what's left of it--will try to rebuild. Yet, there is are clear distinctions between the abilities of the pony races. Given that these ponies are still human by nature, what's to prevent class divisions from arising? Undoubtedly, there would be some who will try to seize power, especially unicorns and pegasi, and maybe alicorns, if they exist. Unlike in human races, where racial distinctions are mostly superficial, there are real differences between the abilities of the pony races. Conflict is inevitable. Things could turn out well in the long run, once things stabilize, but it won't be easy. It would be the greatest disruption in human history.

 

How will I react, however? I'd probably be shocked, too. I'd be unused to four limbs for locomotion; I'd likely trip over my own hooves. I might struggle to manipulate things. I would definitely panic, as much as I say I wouldn't. If I'm not immediately physically incapacitated from injury, I would try to contact others as soon as possible, and get to the bottom of it. Of course, I wouldn't be able to, because nobody knows what's going on. Eventually, I'd be forced to accept my new body and think on the bright side. I might even begin to like it, me being a brony and all. If I'm a pegasus or unicorn, even better. I get to fly or use magic! And maybe, just maybe, humanity might turn out better in the end, now that we're ponies. Who knows? But until then--

I would personally be overjoyed and probably many bronies would. (but not all) But as for the rest of the world..... Their would probably be anarchy, riots, fighting, apocalypse. But then all the bronies are just having a great time while everyone else is loosing their collective shit.

How would I react, well if I turned into either of my OCs then everyone in the intimidate vicinity would be screwed. I mean disintegrated screwed as both my characters are slightly power hungry, just look at my avatar.

 

However if I turned into your standard unicorn or pegasis or whatever then I would be incredibly shocked. After the shock phase I would probably try and adapt myself to some of my daily task such as writing, typing, holding things, walking. After that I would be dying to see my friends and how they reacted, one of my friends would probably be as overjoyed as I would be and my other friends would either need some serious life training from me and my friend or they would just give up on life. Then I would see how the rest of the world would be coping with this sudden transformation, especially my government which I would find hilarious as they tried to figure out what was happening.

 

Come to think of it, I think that bronies would be better off in that sort of world as we would have a, all be it small, advantage over the rest of the world as we would know how ponies do certain things, which would enable us to recover quickest and get on with things as the rest of the world is still in shambles. Then bronies would conquer the world. HAIL THE BRONY EMPIRE!

Well for one thing, there would be incredible chaos as millions of cars on the road would crash due to the lack of opposable thumbs, not to mention the planes that would fall out of the sky.

Probably run through my emergency sanity checks multiple times, sort of scoot my way across the floor to the television and try to get to the CBC. Then I would miss my thumbs because I realized how freaking useful they are the other day

There would be panic, as the non bronies would wonder what the hell is happening. The world governments would meet at the UN and discuss how to revert it or cope with it. Scientist would research the cause and see about reversing. Meanwhile, the police would have to calm the panicking and rioting public and maintain control. Those of us that know would likely relish the turn, and refuse any treatment. Technology would need to be adapted to accommodate hooves. Those with wings or horns would learn to use their abilities, though some would abuse it for bad intents. Life and society would pause for a while.

The problem I see here is that people would  not be able to use magic and fly right away. Since humans have never experience something like that, they would be unable to comprehend such things like magic and flying. As for the racist thing. That will most likely happen because racism,brutality, and war all seem to come natural to humans. Sorry if that's being harsh on humans but it's true and physically being ponies wouldn't change that one bit.

I am actually really really surprised soo many ponies have replied to this thread and it's awesome to see everypony posting their own opinions I love it when people share their opinions.

 

anywho keep the replies coming because like I said i like hearing what you have to say on this topic and once again seriously I am surprised at the current number of replies heh.

 

I am still admit that the enitire planet would have a major freak fit over the whole thing so yeeah I still agree on that.
