I cant wait for this to come out. I grew with legos (mostly bionicles) so the fact there making this gives me such a nostolgic feeling!!!!

Heh, I saw this trailer a few hours ago and made a status about it, I would have made a topic but i'm too lazy for that :3 

 

I gotta say, it does look damned good, it's already my favourite movie and i've only just heard about it. 

Having played the Lego series of games (most of them, anyway) I have great expectations for this movie, having seen what they are capable of. 

 

Still, I have no doubts this will be one of the greatest things ever to grace the silver screen.

My biggest concern for it is if they will make a bionicles refference. Not many people know this, but if it werent for bionicles, lego would have gone backrupt. It is what made them this successful (partially). Plus, I grew up with bionicles, its in my blood. I have and will always loved them, and it would be freaking awesome if they made a bionicles reference in the movie

Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson. I get the feeling it's going to be one hell of a movie with just those two in there. 

It could be a lego block voice acted by Liam Neeson narrated by Morgan Freeman and i'd still watch it. 

 

As for bionicles, I have all the DvDs of Bionicles As well as quite a few model stashed away in a box somewhere, they where the stuff after LEGOs in my eyes! Endless hours of fun right there.

I was really impressed by the trailer, and it really had a lot of nostalgic memories especially of DC Comics. I guess, I would expect a new LEGO movie that would feature Batman and Superman. So I'm definitely sold on this movie.

I am excited for this, but all I can think of right now is whether it will live up to all the hype it's currently receiving when it's released.

 

Also, I like how they used those transparent pole Lego bricks as laser blasts.

I can see this movie going one of two ways, really funny and awesome, or really stupid and lame. Hopefully option 1.

When I first saw this trailer posted by a friend on facebook, I had to check the upload date to make sure it wasn't April 1st  .

 

Based on the trailer though, it seems like the movie will at the least be entertaining. They've got a pretty impressive cast of voice actors.

I've got very high expectations for this film, having watched the trailer. Personally, I'm expecting something a bit akin to Wreck-It-Ralph, with cameos of Lego sets and franchises old and new (that better include Ferrari from Lego Racers and Bionicle, the first two franchises that made my childhood)

I seen the trailer on Facebook a few days ago, it looks awesome, best of all Morgan Freeman! As A kid I always wondered what it's be like if my Lego sets came to life in their own universe....I will be going to watch it.

 

I also grew up with lego as a kid, with everythign from the Technics motor powered sets, to basic sets with minfigs. I'd also buy huge boxes of it at yard sales for next to nothing. I still have it all too!

I just hope lego doesnt "hasbro" it make the movie into a large lego commercial. Most toy companies do this, and it would be a shame to see such an honorable franchise do that.

oh the memories of Legos, the endless hours of putting bits together, more endless hours trying to find that one piece, but nothing can compare to the memory of screaming in pain when standing on a piece barefoot.

I might check this out when it hits theaters. It looks good but I have my doubts. Still, the idea and the things seen in the trailers are so "out there" that this should be watched just to see how they put all of this together and if they can pull it off well . I am skeptical but optimistic at the same time. This has the potential to be remarkably good or something not worthy of attention at all.
