Do little BOYS watch MLP?

I think there has been at least some encroachment on all genders under the age of 30 (except infants obviously), levels off by the time we reach the middle-age generation. Most definitely far more than MLP ever saw before FiM.

I'm sure little boys watch MLP. They're probably the rarest demographic who watch the show, with adult men and little girls the most common demographic, but I could totally see young boys getting into the show

when I was a kid, I always liked rainbow brite and the care bears... which, if anyone recalls, both had some pretty gnarly adventures and nasty adversaries to overcome

When I was a kid, a whole bunch of boys watched The Powerpuff Girls.

 

I am pretty sure that if boys watch PPG, then boys probably watch MLP, probably more so if they have sisters and they will watch and enjoy whatever is on TV.

 

Seriously, what is a boys show and a girls show anyways? I grew up in a Catholic household but my parents never said to any of us "don't watch this, it's not for girls" or "it's not for boys." My brothers and I watched whatever we enjoyed (with some restrictions based off the rating of the show or whatever, but heck I was watching The Simpsons by the time I was 8).

 

There are differences between men and women, but when we put down a TV show just because it is "for girls", especially to young boys, don't you think that they would grow up disrespecting women? "Don't watch this show, it is girly and stupid" just because the main characters are women and despite that the show is for both genders? We don't need anymore of that BS.
