Has anyone noticed that Penguins of Madagascar (those from the popular cartoon on Nickelodeon) are bronies too? img-1379355-5-xtWXQl1.png  Especially Private. ph34r.png Here is the evidence:

Rico loves them too:

And here's a helmet with pony sticker:

If not that horn, I'd thought it's Pinkie Pie happy.png

They even once forced King Julien to watch pony cartoons as a psychological experiment aimed to repair his messed up personality wacko.png

I watched that show a little bit, but I haven't watched it in a while honestly.

It looks like a random hint possibly towards the show, or maybe it was just humorous to the creators to have ponies placed on the helmets and other things, not way to know for sure.

I could live with thinking its a little hint towards MLP and the bronies though :P.

I think the episode which featured those ponies was Hello, Dollface. Air date: Oct. 9, 2010.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Part 1 airdate was Oct. 10, 2010. (That's right - roughly 24 hrs later.) Could be someone worked on both shows.

However, The Return of the Revenge of Dr. Blowhole aired on Sep. 9, 2011, and seems to have a fairly direct reference to Luna, the moon, and a horse in the moon.

It's hilarious how the ponies witnessed in the aired episode look similar to Rarity and Pinkie Pie. Personally, it probably isn't a coincidence; maybe the creators of this show had connections with Hasbro in some way.

This is just non-canon, unfortunately. The evidence could be summed up simply like this: Like already said, the air dates of those episodes correspond with episodes released by the series.

But yet again, the series was created by Dreamworks and not Hasbro... So could it actually be? I honestly don't know, actually.

It could be a coincidence if that episode was made 24 hours before My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic debuted a day later. But, since they were made by two different companies then it could be something that ties them both together.

Honestly, the show is meant to entertain both male and female audiences. They have the ponies in there to keep the female audiences entertained with little jokes about it, not to put them off as bronies. If they were to be put out as bronies, there would be a climate change with the show.

But, it's just my opinion.

I've seen that show a couple of times on TV. I think the ponies are there so people would think that they're childish and funny. Sadly, I don't think they actually show that they're bronies. I support that they have ponies there though. :3

Well, it's clearly a reference to the My Little Pony franchise in itself, as a caricature of the stereotypical childish, girly cartoon that it's always had a reputation for being.

Not the first show to do so either. Dexter's Laboratory had a few references/homages to MLP's earlier generations, complete with cutie marks:
