It's not going to be a singular roleplay. It's one huge canon mass roleplay world with housands of roleplays that fot into canon in it with canon-like characters and canon characters.

I see. But, then why aren't people allowed to create new topics in any of the Equestria Empire forum sections to get this going?

You should be allowed to, but just like in the normal Roleplay section, you have to have an OOC thread. Unlike the normal Roleplay section though, this section requires an approved character for canon. Those rules can be found here.

I will also check to make sure that forum permissions are set correctly in all sections, because you should be able to create new topics without issues.

 

EDIT: @@SCS, are you trying to post in the main forum of Equestrian Empire or the Region Forums? because only the region forums will have topics. The main forum is just a housing forum.

Thanks for the clarification. I was trying to post in the region forums, but I could have sworn that in the past it said that I was not allowed to create a new topic. I am allowed to create a new topic now, though.

Awesome. Just remember to read the general rules for Equestrian Empire and you should be fine. Most of them are the same though with some minor additions. That being said, those additions are very important to keeping things organized.

Quick update - A new field has been added to applications to differentiate WIP apps from apps that are ready to be reviewed. This means that adding [WIP] or [Ready] to the title is no longer necessary.

 

If you still want to work on your application before it is reviewed, simply check "yes" in the "WIP?" field, and remember to uncheck it when your OC is ready.

Very cool Ice Storm, very cool indeed.  Don't roleplay myself on the forums, but this is exciting news regardless!  Hope all the resident and future roleplayers have fun!!!

Just a quick question. I see we lost the ability to edit the approved characters. Mine still has the [Ready] in front of his name. Will those be getting removed since I can't?

Yeah, I can actually go through and edit all of those out here soon. We now have an actual field for whether a character is a WiP Character or not. With that said, we have the ability to edit characters inside the approved section so that people don't try to edit tings into a character once it's been approved. If you have to make major edits to a character, you must re-submit it for approval, at which if cast relationships have developed, you /must/ document those in the other section with links to the topics where they developed in. Otherwise all cast relationships will still be rejected.

Just making a second post here to remind everypony that the time for Cast applications are right around the corner (monday the 12th for those that don't remember.). I'm expecting a high turnout for all cast characters including the mane 6 and the princesses.

 

REMEMBER: Only one person will be selected to play any one cast character at a given time. These characters will be popular and are important to this setting. Players applying for them need to be aware of the posting requirements for them.
