gaming Game Discussion: Was Deadpool Over-hyped

In late June, the Deadpool video game came out. Being a huge Marvel superhero fan, I was hyped up and excited when Deadpool finally got his own game. When I finally played it, I was... unimpressed, to say the least. I don't really remember too much from the game. It had some good stuff in there, but it just wasn't enough to satisfy me.

For those who have played the game, tell me. Do you think it was over-hyped?

i really do. i thought it would be awesome since deadpool is kinda my favorite superhero.

but when i played it, it just seemed like any other hack and slash i played. really too bad.

I think the game was hyped too much, since we all know how Deadpool is. I really thought the game would be good but, it isn't that bad of a game but it's fun to play.

I have barely heard anything about the game to be honest. I do hope to play it sometime in the future when it's like less than $20 because I'm not gonna invest so much money on something I don't know that much about. I saw reviews for the game it looks pretty average so I guess that's another reason I'll wait for it.

I played it and I thought it was great the gameplay was enough to keep me interested in between every lmao line that came out of deadpools mouth. The game was all about breaking the fourth wall, nothing more.

It probably was. I haven't played it yet, but from what I've seen, it's probably because it was supposed to be Deadpool's first game(MvC3 doesn't count), and it was made by High Moon Studios, who was responsible for the awesome Transformers games War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, and they failed to deliver

This game surpassed the Arkham games. Suck it, Batman, Deadpool is truly the best.

The game was hyped,and the game sucked imo,however it atleast it was funny at times and overall playable and fairly enjoyable. It was no Superman 64.
