Funniest way you've woken up

Once I woke up because some birds were chirping outside. Not funny necessarily, but completely unexpected if you know me and my sleep patterns.

 

There was another time when Mom was trying to wake me up. She told me she had a dinosaur and she wasn't afraid to use it. I was about 13 at the time, so I knew she was joking. About 5 minutes later, I felt something wet and plastic-y on my eye. I picked it up, and saw that it was one of those toy dinosaurs that grow when put in water. I looked over at Mom, who was laughing beside me, got up and told her she won. So yeah, I was woken up with a toy dinosaur once.

I have definitely woken up in the garbage can next to my bed.  Oh absolutely. 

 

I think the all time best story took place about 15 or so years ago.  It was during one of the Seders of Passover, when I decided to take the four cups of wine as a challenge.  Long story short, I woke up in the middle of the night with my head on my dinner plate.  I was alone, and the rest of the table was cleared.  I really had to go to the bathroom, so I got up, went around the bend to the bathroom, did the stuff, and felt absolutely no hesitation in going back to the dining table and resting my head right back on the dinner plate, going back to sleep.

 

I wasn't drunk or hung-over or anything either.

Well, I a month ago I was having a dream about me being the cave of wonders from Aladdin, then my mom woke me up for school my automatic response, (since moments ago I was a badass talk tiger cave), was "WHO DISTURBS MY SLUMBER!!!"

I had a wet dream.

 

 

 

I think I was dreaming that I was in the bathroom and that I was going to urinate. After I did, a really sexy woman who was wearing a micro-mini skirt and a really tight T-shirt entered the room. I looked back and gasped, wondering why a woman was in the men's bathroom. Turns out, she wanted to turn me on by strip-teasing. The dream ended, and I woke up noticing my boxers were all wet. My first thought? "Shit... did I just have a wet dream? OMG This is my first wet dream EVER!!"

I woke up on the floor, my bed sheets wrapped around my ankle. And then I remembered the events that had taken place the night before.

 

I woke up from a nightmare, stood up on my bed, walked off of it, and then fell off my bed. I had apparently squirmed around for a bit, and then fell asleep.

 

 

I died of laughter.

Once I had this dream involving my dog. I was just hanging out with some friends and he just came up and started scratching their legs, which is kinda his way to try and get pats. Anyway, then he tackled me over and started licking my face (I still wonder how I even dared to dream him tackling me over, he's a friggin toy poodle xD).

I used to sleep in the loft of my house under this ledge bit. So basically if i wasn't particularly alert and awake. I would get up every morning and smash my head on the ceiling. Yup... you awake up feeling pretty stupid doing that every day for nearly a year.

I quite literally fell out of bed once, from my top bunk, which is six feet off the ground. Ouch. But everyone laughed, except me, of course. I was none too happy, and not injured.

Thursday is trash day. Every Thursday morning I'm awoken to the sound of hydraulics, a diesel engine, and banging metal for about fifteen minutes (I live in an apartment and there are about 6 dumpsters near me). The suckish part of that is I don't have class til 12:30 on Thursdays...

 

As for a funny way I woke up, it wasn't how I woke up or what woke me, but how I ended up in my bed by the time I did. I went to sleep like normal. Next morning, my blanket was wadded up in the middle of my bed, my pillows were behind my headboard and I ended up with my head where my feet were that night. We were in a hotel room and I was with my folks so they poked a little fun at me. My mom even got worried and asked if and how I sleep at night. 

 

If I can sleep through that, I wonder if I talk in my sleep. If so I wonder what I talk about. I hope I don't mention ponies in my sleep accidentally :3 My parents don't know lol

I was in the hospital, and I had to be in bed at a certain point in time. It was only my 2nd night, and I was really tired, so I went to bed around 8:30ish.

 

I woke up and didn't know the time, so I got out of bed and put on my scrubbish-hospital wear for the day and walked out to where we would watch TV, since I was in a smaller hospital were we weren't bedridden and there was one big TV we all watched.

 

It was still 3:30 in the morning, and here I was, turning on the TV. I didn't know, I thought I was just the first one up.

 

I woke everyone in my unit up and was dragged back to my room by the arm by one of the nurses working the nightshift.

 

I'm just glad the other patients never knew it was me

Oh, this is easy!  Several months ago, I was having this weird dream.  A girl kept chasing me and grabbing my butt.  No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get away from her. 

 

A minute later I woke up.  It turned out that the cat was kneading my buns.

I've LITERALLY woken up with a live shark being shoved into my face. -.- On vacation my uncle caught one and decided to show it off around the house and had the bright idea to ask me if I wanted to hold the shark while I was asleep. (I slept on the couch.) I screamed and fell onto the floor. It seriously seemed like it was out of a freakin' comedy show. 

 

I don't sleep on couches anymore.
