i'm planning to do a genderbent cosplay as a girl dressed as a boy character, idk if that counts but I will technically be cross dressing i guess, also did you know that if a woman cross dresses she's considered a Drag King?

I'm so glad I found this thread. I'm planning on cross dressing and being a girl for one whole day. Ima go full out and wear a full face of makeup and maybe even a dress (probably not just wear some cute girly outfit). Actually I've been thinking about the bathroom situation at my school. I know I'm a boy and I don't want to be a girl however, would I use the girls bathroom because I would look like a girl or the men's room because I have guy parts. I feel like I would just use the girls bathroom because the people around me wouldn't know and it would probably be real awkward if I went to the guys room. I guess I'll just use a stall if I need to go pee then. Idk can someone help me out.

I always use the males' bathroom. Usually people can tell I'm a male if they see me from the front and I identify as a boy, anyway. I'm sure a few have been uncomfortable as they saw me walk in or put on makeup there, but, screw them. The only one who has said anything was very polite and actually thought I was a female until I spoke, and then wanted my picture.

Women clothing usually have more flash and are more colorful and more diverse as a means to have them stand out. Much of this was made to attract men and to let others know they are women. So when men wear those clothes people mistaken it to the man wanting to attract other men. We wear clothes as a means to not just protect our bodies but to represent a certain social element.

There's also clothes that create a sense of uniformity and to let others know what job you have in the case of law enforcers.

My mom dressed me in this blue frilly nightie when I was little. She took a picture of it that's why I still remember it up to this day. And wouldn't blame her for doing that because she said she always wanted a girl but she has my big brother and me, so I became her scapegoat at that time... Weird but meh...

And no I'm not going to post the picture or send it privately. :P

  • 4 months later...

Yeah I wear dudes clothes, some days I feel like a dude. So yeah it is fine with me if you were the opposite gender's clothes

Wow, this was inactive for over four months.

Anyway, I'm actually facing eviction due to my crossdressing. The landlady fails to realize even femboys have rights, and trying to trample over a strategist/tactician femboy the way she has is not a great strategy. HUD and Lambda Legal hopefully will call me today and I will finally have others to help in directing this defensive.

Also in the works is some clothing upgrades which should be done any day now. If she was upset over me being seen in colorful girly clothes, she's gonna hate the hot pink furry skirt and cuffs I will get soon. Also will have a new tail!

I technically cross dress everyday unless I have to dress formally. I don't get much negativity for it since I'm a girl without makeup who's wearing men's tees, shoes, and jeans, but I hate that this is acceptable while many people are against men dressing in women's clothing. Some people have assumed I'm a lesbian because of it (which isn't entirely incorrect), but aside from that, people never comment on it. Meanwhile I hear stories of men being beaten to death for it... this is sad. I really believe people should appear how they want without fear, regardless of their physical gender.

Some of my best friends cross dress and imo they do it stunningly. Really, I think everyone should do whatever makes them feel beautiful, no matter what it is (provided they are not harming themselves or others). Not everyone is going to find the same thing aesthetically pleasing anyway, so you might as well like what YOU see in the mirror. That's my whole philosophy on life really. People have called me stuck up for liking what I see in the mirror and "a tease" for being asexual yet wearing short skirts... but when it comes down to it, that's not being stuck up because I don't think I'm above other people, and it's not being a tease because I'm not doing it FOR anyone else. The second I stopped trying to please everyone else, I found myself. And I like her. When I get to express myself through fashion and makeup, I get to be happy. I would be a terrible person to try to rob another person of that privilege.

Omg this

I get so jealous of how women can get away with that.

I'd love to wear some of my skirts out but it is a huge risk as I've gotten yelled at, threatened, or thought of as a deviant or male hooker. Most times I go out things are okay when I stick with a group, but I still get scared.

Tho sometimes I think I may be trans. But idk if that's because that's how I truly feel and see myself, or if I feel that's the only way to dress everyday. The whole thing is confusing x.x.

Wow, you must live in a crappy area. When I hear of things like that, I marvel at the fact I live in a supposedly quite conservative county, yet I almost never get negative reactions to my furry femboy look. I feel I have been spoiled all this time. Anyway, be sure to research and purchase pepper spray, and attach them so that you can quickly grab hold of them. I use a magnetic detachable keychain for my small one under my skirt, and my totebag is where my large canister's holster is attached (my plushie's head rests over the top of it, haha).

You don't necessarily have to be transgender to be a femboy. I don't identify fully as either male or female psychologically. I am more feminine than masculine generally, but I also like being a boy and identify as one. So, I'm genderqueer and thus trans. However, some just like girls' clothes and otherwise see themselves as fully masculine, or don't consider the trans part prominent enough to merit labeling themselves as such.

Thanks! I actually had an unexpectedly positive development this week. HUD had expedited my complaint after I stated an eviction summons was imminent, and I spoke to the intake person very rapidly as a result. On the day I discovered the eviction summons, I signed the complaint and e-mailed it back, and now it's being given urgent status in the investigative department's queue. This should get that arrogant buffoon's attention.

It probably doesn't count, I'm not sure, but I went through a short phase when I was around 17 where I'd go out and buy male clothing, including boxers and just wear them sometimes. That lasted for about a year on and off.

But I don't know, cross-dressing seems to be a bigger deal when it's males dressing in female clothing, the other way around doesn't seem to matter?

Yeah, I wear women's panties as a norm, so cross dressing is something I could totally do. I'll say this though, ever since my first girlfriend I have been wearing women's underwear and never have I found anything more comfy.

I always hear guys say that, however I've tried women's panties for a week and because of my sensitive skin chafing I ended up dealing with a little bleeding in some sensitive areas x.x Anything you would recommend that would give a bit of support and won't chafe on the skin? Granted the ones I bought were very cheap from walmart so that is prooobably why.

If I try again I feel like boyshorts might work better? But ever since my experiences last time I've felt hesitant.

I live in Pennsylvania, in the Pennsyltucky area :v The only times I dress up publically are for anime conventions, costume/halloween parties, LGBT dances, and anime club events. Worst reactions I got was when I went to a convention in Lancaster. I was walking with a friend to the parking lot wearing my Fluttershy cosplay and I was getting yelled at and threatened by people. My friend was pretty sure that if it weren't for him walking with me I would've gotten beaten up. I can pass pretty well but I still need a little practice with makeup/voice/posture and I think that's what gives me away xp

I used to carry pepper spray but I keep losing it and it would be my third one if I get one again x.x I usually just hold out my keys anymore when I'm walking through a bad area.

And yeah I'm aware of that, and differences between gender identity/expression and all that. My feelings are still kind of weird though. I can't really explain it all in a short post x3

Well, the first step to help with chafing, would be a little bit of moisturizer or baby powder. Something to soften the skin, so you don't feel the grinding. Also, remember to wear something a little loose. As for fabric choices, I prefer silk myself, because silk is just fabulous. Boyshorts are good, I admit. I do have a few pairs. Those are my tips for you. ^^
