Also, you saved the world from the Didact, The connection between Cortana and Mater Chief is one of the most important parts of the story of Halo. Also, where did it seem forced?

 

I don't know, it just seemed like Halo 3 ended the series perfectly.

Imagine if they added another Star Wars movie where one of the main antagonists comes back to life and rebuilds the Death Star. It's like that.

You were not even one percent of those who shed man tears, which was pretty much everyone. It was a sad thing. RIP Cortana. You will be missed. Also, about the "Diamond being covered in poop" thing, it is 343's first "real" game, so it's inevitable to have some minor issues.

At least they did Cortana's death well. It fit, and that's all I have to say on the matter. One thing that got me was when she was vaporized on the terminal thingy, and John called out "Cortana!" his voice almost cracked, which may not seem like to much but for Master Chief, it shows that he still is human. He was really cold at certain points, especially after the Composer was fired on all of the scientists.

Not really about the Cortana death, but Johns' reaction to her saying goodbye. His movement was like a child having to say goodbye to a parent. Turning to the side to avoid eye contact .

 

Also about the diamond reference some of the mistakes 343 were things they couldn't look for, but then there's the stuff that they completely said We actually forgot about that... I understand there was something to be missed when it comes to a game that is this big,

 

but when it comes to

Theater mode not for campaign or Spartan ops.

No option to turn off join in progress

the UI have to navigate to get to friends list not like reach were it was on the right side of the screen.

Ranks are a big one giving players a sense of worth and skill. H3 did this very well social and rank playlists

Custom games being limited,

Removal of: race, assault, VIP, ability to change infection weapons  

 

 

This video tackles alot more things that I just said and in depth. This game has so much potential but as it is right now this game going to die fast. Already is were reach was after a year. 

 

 

 

 

And the one thing that really is making me upset Not even a month has gone by yet and DLC already... I understand they have to meet Microsoft's quota, but common Dec. 10. No  I bought the LE, but I don't want new maps the maps shouldn't be coming out so quick H2 and H3 had at least like 3 months in between even longer. I hope this game gets better come the new year. 

 

Side note: 

343 has to fix their problems and listen to a community of people soon or like I said this game going to die. Take GOW 3 that game was a good game after the downside which was GOW 2. The pro community which had a voice, just like the Halo community has the MLG and competitive community need to be listened. Gow had members talk to Epic and they either completely ignored them or took some facts and ignored the rest. 

 

There's the part its their game and they can do what they please, but when you have a huge fanbase that is crying for aid and is being ignored your inadvertently killing your game. I love Halo, I have every book and every game I love everything about this and it makes me sad when I have to play a game that makes me very upset. I just hope they do something soon. I'm losing interest fast and I want to play this game.

It's not always 343. A lot of things can be influenced by Microsoft. This is there huge money making title. Halo predates xbox live. It's extremely important to Microsoft that it makes money and beats Cod. That's why things like this happened.

I finally got a hold of Halo 4, although i really hate playing FPS games on console, due to the fact that Halo is the greatest FPS franchise ever, I had to. TBH I only bought an Xbox for Halo, all I have on it is Halo and some Multiplatform games since Its much more comfortable playin with Xbox controller than PS3

If you wanna fight get on Xbox Live and fight, this is for free exchange of HALO info and for fans who don't have Xbox Live to meet others. Rule #2: No Spoilers. Because you don't really know who has gotten far in to any one of the games. If you wanna share a spoiler with someone who has beaten every HALO game so far, Personal Message them. Me for example I've beat Combat Evolved, HALO 3: ODST, HALO 3, and HALO: REACH. I don't wanna know what happens in HALO 2 or 4. Because that would just ruin the whole thing for me.

It's awesome, the gameplay is incredible, it is tough but once you learn the controls killing enemies is almost as easy as breathing, depending on the enemy and difficulty setting you have selected. You may also wanna learn a few Military Terms because they're used alot. I could teach you a few if you like just PM me and I'd be happy to help. There are many weapons to use, learn to use them all and learn that certain situations call for certain weapons. But with each game the Artillery expands. There's comedy in it too so it's never dull. And the graphics improve with each game and never ceases to amaze.

I'm strictly a PC gamer. Having games not available on the PC means I don't play them, with the exception of most things Nintendo. I also don't intend to change that for an FPS game which is one of my least favorite genres (Far Cry 3 and Borderlands 2 were awesome though).

 

It /does/ look very pretty though.

I'm arguably the biggest fan of Halo on this site. I have a room of my house dedicated, I can't list it all but let me start to list my Halo Paraphinillia.

 

-I have the entire series, in the highest editions they come

-I own all the books

-I have several posters

-I own most of the Halo 2 and 3 action figures

-I own the Halo Megabloks set

-I own the Halo 3 Xbox 360

-I have the special mountain dew bottles for both Halo 3 and for Halo 4

-I have a master chief costume

-I have several Halo trading cards that I made myself, from scratch.

-I have all the soundtrack discs

-I have a grunt plushie I made myself

And I'm still collecting, that's not even everything i have, I just don't feel like digging everything out.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I also have the PC versions of both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2. I'm a huge time mapper for Halo Custom Edition.

I've almost beat the same games as you:Halo 4,Halo 3,Halo 3:ODST,but not Halo:Reach.I have played it once when my brother's friends came over and played it,but other than that i have not.I just started playing Halo 2,might as well get Halo 1.I can tell the storyline of Halo 4 if you want me to,but ask me.By the way,I beat Halo 3 and Halo 4 on Legendary.

 

I have several posters too,like the ODST one where they were taking cover and smoke came out of a building and next to the building was the riot shield,also where chief is holding a assault rifle next to the warthog and there was another spartan,and where ODST chief was holding a sniper looking away from the dark clouds.

 

Good luck with Halo 2, It was nigh impossible to beat on Legendary, but I managed to do it. Also, beating Halo 1 on Legendary is purely worth it for the Legendary ending.

I use the spare bedroom in my house entirely for my Halo collection. Arguably, you could say I'm kind of obsessed with Halo. I kind of agree with anyone who thinks I'm obsessed. Right now I'm working on a replica Plasma Rifle.

I guess it would almost make more sense to play reach first then 1 considering its a prequel .

 

It also doesn't really help that the only Xbox we have is my brothers in his room so I don't get many chances to play it, thinking of getting my own though .
