Hey everyone im sure you have heard of this new gadget from google called "Google Glass" some point in your life and for those who dont know what it is, it is a wearable computer with an optical head mount display (OHMD) which is kind of like wearing glasses but without a lens.

As you can see technology is getting even better these past few years and i honestly think in the future, technology will reign over us.

Some things the Google Glass can do are:

-Take photos

-Take videos

-Share what you see live

-GPS

-Speak to send messages

-Translate

and more...

Google Glass displays information in a Smartphone-like hands free format, that can communicate with the internet through voice commands.

Google Glass sells for $300-$500 for the consumer edition and $1500 for the explorer version.

Would you like to buy the Google Glass? What are your thoughts on it?

It's an overhyped piece of integrative technology that really doesn't do as much as it should for the price tag.

I'd rather get a smart phone, which is less clunky and less fragile, and more flexible.

Hell, I don't even have a smartphone now. I still have a crappy old LG slider phone, and I'm still by far the most technologically apt out of anyone I know to be honest, so this kinda stuff just really appeals to the user's conspicuous consumption more than anything.

I'd only recommend this for people who have disabilities and thus need assistance with certain tasks. Otherwise it's really just frivolous consumer spending at its finest.

My father is hoping that he will still be alive by the time that they get popular enough to buy. And for me, they look interesting and that they will bring new technology to new levels and exceptions. But I'm not sure if I will ever get any for myself, they just seem like a phone that is right in front of your eyes all the time.

Never buy the first addition of anything. I'll wait till its been tested by the public. I think this is what will be big next, but I also think it will be slow to adapt as it's rather unusual.

I'm definitely not going to get a pair of these. I already don't trust Google (and for good reason) and this product seems like it could become very intrusive. I want this sort of thing to happen, but it's nerve wracking for me to know that the company pushing this product forward is the biggest data-miner on the web.

I'll likely skip out on glass and just use my regular glasses, they haven't let me down yet.

Not to mention that when you look away from a video, it pauses.

I cannot believe the technology they have these days! I miss the days when Apple and Blackberry were fruits..

I got to try Google Glass once - one of my co-workers has it, she got in on the beta testing.  I personally wouldn't get it until it's something I can attach to my regular glasses.  Not only can I not see regularly without them on, it was hard to see Google Glass clearly too!

And to think when I was younger, I was doubting they would ever create such a device. Welp, time to buy one.

I've got a feeling in a few years time, when this may get more advanced, it'll take the spotlight from the iPhone.

Pft i will most likely get one, after some better gaming pc.

The bad thing is people will think i am crazier than i already am. (I will probably only use it to find pizza and kebab)

It says in a little while Google will make the Glass compatible with prescription lenses. I think it already has optional sunglass lens too

Also I wear Glasses.  It looks like it would be a little akward to use for some one like me.

I would love a smart phone tho, just can't  afford one or the monthly cost.

I was thinking of this exact same thing! ^_^ I also would have trouble wearing it due to the fact that I wear glasses. I can't even wear sunglasses without a subscription.

In space, no one can hear you squee!

It's kinda like a weird phone. I'm not really excited about it and doubt I'll buy it unless the price drops enough to fit into my "Fun funds" category.

But I'm really excited about the technology, I know it has been done before, but this is the first time it is really widely available and has a big campaign behind it, so I hope we'll see more of OHMD soon thanks to it.
