It was pretty kewl, not funny. just cool, I would say 8/10. (it is the coolest thing to ever leave this place)

Though it failed at making me laugh, (and it is getting overplayed, it was on the darn news all day long.)

and it should have been done  in norwenglish.

I have seen some of it... the song is kinda dumb to me honestly, and all the costumes make it look like a music video for furries haha(no offense to anyone who is one). It is what it is though I guess, I don't really care for it though honestly.

At first, I thought it was normal. Then, I heard the lyrics and thought "okay, a little weird, but I like it". When the fox part started, I laughed. It was so ridiculous that it was good. I give it a 9/10.

Well it is a comedy song, kind of like Norway's version of Gangamn Style with less satire and more silly noises. It's intentionally silly and made by comedians.

It wasn't that bad I guess, I listen to plenty of Norwegian music (TBH, I listen to a lot more Swedish music) so it wasn't really what I would normally expect from Norway. But then again, I'm an American so I'm not very familiar with what is played on the radio in Norway.

I'd say that it may possibly be the new Gangnam Style. The Fox gained 30,000,000 views in only two weeks, and that's pretty impressive. It's definitely the new viral video out there. I'd say it's going to remain popular for at least another three months. It's only been out for three weeks, so it's not going to get old anytime soon. 

 

I enjoy this song quite a bit, and I showed it to all of my friends at least once. In fact, one of my friends called me today just to tell me that they played the song on the sports radio. Because of that, now he's a fan of that song, and he's going to hear it more often.

 

The one thing that irks me though, is that they cover it on the news. I'm not sure if they're trying to take some of the spotlight by advertising it, or if they honestly think that viral videos are news stories. Either way, it's a bit of a bother to me, because after a news station advertises it around here, the fad dies the next week. I like this one too much for it to just disappear.

 

I wish I could listen to it again right now, but I don't have any speakers at the moment.

But it has a hidden meaning. In Norway, where the artist is from, smoking weed is called "smoking a fox", and the song was written about that concept. Watch it again, and think of this comment, and it will all make sense.

Didn't really do anything for me.  I mean, I get why it's a "thing" right now, if only because it's so bizarre and over-the-top, but still, I didn't even think it was funny, just incredibly strange and confusing.  I think it's fame is very similar to "Gangnam Style's" last year, that being largely a case of A LOT of Americans saying, "Hey look, this foreign song is (1) kind of catchy to an extent, and (2) extremely weird, ergo, it's quirky and hip", the only difference being I actually thought that Gangnam Style was a catchy song while I didn't even really enjoy the chorus to this song (no offense to any Norwegians).  This ticks me off mostly just because I HATE IT that so many Americans are going to be aware of what's really just a pretty average foreign song (average by any standard really, no matter who's making it), while so many are still unaware of truly PHENOMENAL foreign media productions, like anime staples such as "Cowboy Bebop" and "Trigun".  I mean, I get that it's not always easy to track down high quality foreign entertainment, but still, millions of Americans are going to settle their foreign appetites with THIS when there's soooooo much better foreign fare out there that they could be watching or listening to!!!  OK, rant over, just needed to get that out there.

It's not that looking for foreign forms of entertainment is hard, it's just some people are better at it than others. I myself have a boatload of bands from Sweden and Norway in my music library. Seriously though, Scandinavia has some really good music.

Yeah, guess I'm just being a bit of a curmudgeon.  And no denying that Scandinavia has some really good music!  I don't really listen to anything from the mainland, but I LOVE "Of Monsters and Men" from Iceland (and no, not just for "Little Talks", even though that song is awesome, I also love their single "Dirty Paws" and they're doing some really interesting stuff musically, really are)!!!
