A simple RD wallpaper

[Vinyl Variety 40]

This was mainly for practice and learning but it didn't turn out too bad in my opinion. If anyone's got any tips or experience doing this sort of thing, I'd be totally grateful for any help.

If you ask me, this wallpaper could improve a lot by taking out that vector of confused Dashie. It doesn't really fit in with the overall theme of the image (which is very nice, by the way).

 

So, my suggestions would be: Take out the extra vector. Add an overlay to the background blackspace. Not something very noticeable, maybe an outline of her cutie mark or whatever so there's something else to look at.

 

Good job, though. You've got some talent.

Yeah, like Sky Chaser said, try taking out the confused Dashie vector. It doesn't go with the theme of the wallpaper, and it stands out quite a bit. I'm not really sure if this will do any good, but try experimenting with a vector of Rainbow Dash's cutie mark in the empty black space. It's too empty there, and you should fill up the space a bit. Also, you may want to edit the lens flare a bit. Some of goes under the outlines of Rainbow Dash, but still appears where her actual face is; it looks a bit odd.

 

However, you have a nice theme going with this wallpaper, and the font choice is really nice as well.

I agree with blue and sky, the random vector in the foreground for the background seems almost tacked on, and really doesn't do anything favorable in my eyes for the quality.

 

As far as the rest I quite like it.

As for the lens flare, it's a sampled one I've had saved for a while so I can't do a whole lot with it. Would've credited but I dunno where it came from. I'm not really talented enough to put one that good together myself. (And now that removes any thought that any talent was put into this XD)
This is my first time doing anything of the sort.
