Your Opinion on Derpibooru

So,what is your overall opinion on this image board which is the successor of the original Ponibooru? I think it's got many cool features that set it apart from its predecessor,but some of the comments make me feel quite uneasy

I don't mind it, although I don't really have an opinion about it otherwise. I mean, I do go there sometimes when I have nothing better to do, but other than that I couldn't care less about it.

I don't mind it at all. It's mainly for either entertainment or stirring the pot of flame wars, so I think that my opinion is that I enjoy their harmless entertainment.

I like it for the most part. Before Ponibooru closed its doors last year, I liked to browse the site. I don't go on it everyday, but it's amusing enough.

I really like the place. It's where I find most of my pony images. There are so many and more are added everyday. There are some pics I dislike, but luckily you can hide the ones you don't want to see. That's convenient. The comments are sometimes fun to read, but are sometimes annoying. It depends. Overall, great place in my opinion.

I go there sometimes every now and then, I must say that I actually like the site. I weren't much on ponibooru so I can't really compare them. But I like the site.

I use it to find some picture for my computer background and sometimes my avatar. It's fairly convenient if you just want to find some pony. 

 

Also, people there hate Sonic.

I think it's a great site to find new cute pics and memes that both are and aren't on DeviantArt. The tag system is so much better Han DA's.

I love it, I go there all the time to scour for Rarity fanart among other things(but mostly Rarity stuff lol). Plus I never have to see porn or spoilers(which are obviously both equally bad) there ever, really good tagging system. So yeah, great site.

I don't like seeing the foalcon, even if they censor it with a non dirty images to warn you of foalcon, I think find it sickening.

 

I think of the Ponies as the same as a Human, so I think this kind of stuff should be illegal.

 

All that said, it's a good site for finding My Little Pony fan art.

It, along with DeviantART, traffic an overwhelming majority of the internets' more prominent pony artwork. DeviantART is a central hub in of itself, and Derpibooru drags in a lot of the things posted on Tumblr that don't get submitted to DeviantART. You can block the things you don't want to see, but it's still there for those who enjoy it. Long as you ignore the trolls and butthurts who like to debate in the comments, it's a great resource site for images of all kinds pony.

I find Derpibooru to be a great "one stop shop" for whatever pony image/vector/artwork I need or want. It's great to have an image site where I can find exactly what I want without needing to go through heavy searches on other sites.

It's an extremely handy site. I find loads of art there that I would otherwise never see, and it's searching and filtering systems are extremely helpful in helping me find exactly what I want. Sure, I get annoyed when everybody decides to run with a meme for weeks until you just want to punch something, but it's a small price to pay for all its other benefits.

Sounds like you've had personal conflicts with them that others likely will not. Sure there's ytube quality comments (ie idiocy) but its SO easy to ignore whats on the bottom of the page if it agraivates you. It's the best Fimart site out there and its categories, sourcing, and filters work great.

I completely ignore that place. Don't like the way the website is organized and it confuses the hell out of me to try to navigate. Anyways, I just stick to DA to get my art fix on anything, regardless of ponies. I can certainly find all sorts of things there without having to deal with an annoying layout.

 

Also helps that I myself post art to DA frequently and have been a member for several years. So yeah, Deviantart is my favorite art website and I doubt any will be trumping it any time soon.

I am exteremly glad that they made the decision to have it turned off and its automatically censored (and you have to enable it to view). Art should not be illegal even if it is sickening because that's prosecuting an idea vs an actual crime. Derpibooru seems to have gotten the balance right by having strict filters in place that work (and giving source credit pretty routinely). That's a LOT better then places like tumblr where you will get folacon consistently with your clop sites even though they do blog takedowns routinely as that and human x pony are both not allowed. .

I've only been to Derpibooru a couple of times, and it just doesn't really appeal to me all that much. Still, I've seen some neat images on that site, but I haven't used any for anything. So yeah, it's okay; but nothing much for me.

The site has some neat and disturbing images, I can look past all of that and say it's an okay site not really something you should follow everyday.

It's good for finding pictures that aren't on DeviantART but it does have a lot of images that are rule 34 but many of those are hidden anyway.
