Movies, shows, books, songs, pictures, etc. Any form of media counts. As for me, I cried when I saw this.

Waaaaah! My poor Prussia... I'll comfort you... I don't want to hurt you! ;-;

I love you...

Anyway, has any form of media "started the waterworks", so to speak? Don't be embarrassed, just post it below!

Usually, I cry when there is nothing to cry about. But, well....

This was pretty depressing to me:

I think it's both sweet and sad at the exact same time. It made me tear up but not full on cry. That's saved up for when I cry myself to sleep. Geez, that sounds so...bleh.

Does crying because of laughter count? If so, then have this as my gift to you.

If not, than My Little Dashie (yes,I just saw that today.) made me cry. A lot.

Yes.

When I was replaying Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations,

Viola's backstory was very sad,not to mention, the music that goes with it.

It made me cry and feel sorry for her.

Honestly,I just wanted to hug her.img-1892636-1-sad.png

Here's the music.

For those of you who have beaten Trials and Tribulations, you'll understand.

Well let me just say that some episodes from my old favorite TV show, making that the first cartoon to EVER make me cry.

So the episodes are a villain arc of my favorite character  Unfortunately he went crazy and became evil again, cause in the show he was a reformed villain. So he hurt all his friends and stole alot of power and his best friend WANTED TO KILL HIM so he could be stopped. I cried because I understood that he was a bad guy now and all but there was no need to kill him. So the arc was four episodes and one of them revealed another part of his tragic backstory that also made me cry. ALL FOUR EPISODES MADE ME CRY!! :( I couldn't take it. I was so used to seeing him so cheerful and jokingly sarcastic that it really hurt me to see him like this.

Eventually though his girlfriend convinced his best friend not to kill him and they found a way to turn him back. That was the last time I cried, BUT OF HAPPINESS!! I was so happy, and I swear if the writers of the show EVER dare to do that to him again, I WILL CRUSH THEM

I'm gonna leave you guys to guess what show and character I'm talking about though I HIGHLY DOUBT anyone will recognize this.

But yes I've never cried during a cartoon before, and this was just too much for me to take since I loved that character to bits :(

I was re-watching episodes of Doctor Who recently and then.  And then.  And then Donna.  And Amy and Rory.  And then "I don't want to go" and then River and I see a very lovely corner that looks like it wants to be sobbed in right about now.

This didn't really make me cry, but I found this horribly depressing. The other installments of the story made me even more depressed.

No pony said it yet?! I will then. I felt sadness and cried after seeing pokemon. I can't count how many times, but I'll list you at least three times.

1.That scene in the first (or was it second?) movie where Ash gets turned to stone and everyone cries. Pikachu and Ash..that made my feels scream.

2.The bucking scene in the Jirachi movie *cries* Max sees Jirachi go and pleads. Don't tell me your heart hadn't melted?!

3.ANY JAMES EPISODE WITH HIM LOSING HIS POKEMON..and Pouched Ego! I cried because they actually tried to do a good thing in Pouched Ego (though, originally, they hadn't wanted too until their pokemon were sad) Chimeco and Cacnea made me cry lots.

4.When Ash gets his Chimchar. Please, don't make me explain this (and the other episodes with Chimchar's inclusion to the group making him cry)

I felt really sad too when I saw the movie "Girl Fight". I got really sad... I cried because of what was happening..

No words to describe this masterpiece made by Pixar:

Truly, I shed tears after watching this scene. It's just so... beautiful. Amazing how touching this is even without speech.

Lasted less than 5 minutes, but it was so well made that I ALMOST cried.

But back on topic, I cried at the end of code geass... And in an Rp I did once... And in the end of fma brotherhood when hornheim died and then went into that dad music that ended the episode.

Not really, i honestly don't cry very often, unless i'm really frusterated, or something really emotional for me personally happens.

Typically I have to have some kind of connection to something to have it make me cry, which is why stuff like My little dashie and MLP haven't made me cry(My little dashie was pretty sad though, got close.)

I'm pretty sure i'm not heartless though, i just don't cry alot. Although sometimes i wish i could when i get really sad of frustrated.

Anyways, last time i remember crying, was back at band camp, when we where practicing Jazz runs for band, and i couldn't do it for the life of me, so I just got frustrated and cried a little I tried not to and i was facing the wall and stuff, but i did some.

Luckily the people in band are pretty nice mostly, and they didn't make fun of me, infact they tried to help and comfort me, so yeah.

I still didn't feel comfortable flat out crying though.

Luckily in the end also we don't have to Jazz run in the show anymore, so yeah ;p.

That was right before school started, so a while ago.

Nothing i can think of made me cry since, I really only cry maybe 2-4 times a year on average I think, give or take some depending.

Like i said though, i kinda wish I cried more at times. It feels good in the end after crying.

I honestly cannot remember single time I cried. Not even when I was a kid. Sometimes I really think that part of my face is broken, because the most that ever happened is that my eyes get a little more wet (but no tears) and I really feel like I should be crying.

Now that I think about it, you know how some unexpected or really big pain makes people shed a tear or two? Doesn't work for me either. I guess I'm that dry.

But recently, I watched Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) and *SPOILER...*

...the way that anime presents you a nice and cool character, then makes you you like them and then in some moment that looks like "the heroes finally triumph"... suddenly and without any warning kills them in some very innovative, hardcore and unexpected way. I'm not sure about the reason why, but especially the part where Levi's squad gets killed got me and when Petra was, well... (s)mashed, got me as down as I can really get.

I know exactly how you feel. I remember watching D Gray-Man this summer. They had just introduced a new character, had his whole backstory, and even made me crush on him a little... Well, a few episodes later, my (previously) favorite antagonist killed him in an epic battle. I was hoping that he was just injured, and not dead. But, of course, they had to have a funeral scene, which made me cry. It just wasn't that recent, is all.

I got really attached to him! Stupid Tykie, I'll never forgive you.

Tykie? Wasn't it Tyki? Tyki Mikk, Noah of pleasure? And nice character he's resposibile for... Yaeegar? Suman? (I really liked both of them. Suman especially for some reason) It's quite some time since I watched D-Gray.man, should watch it again.

But as far as I'm concerned, Attack on Titan is much more hardcore in that respect. I don't know if it's just me, but the anime really succeeds in making me very emotional about what's going on in a very short time.

If you watch a story with 100 episodes about a few people, then it's natural you kind of bond with them, but AoT makes me really, really care in a very short time. Also has the ability to invoke this "Yes, this is the epic moment!*great anticipation*" feeling and then, in a few seconds make me go "Oh noooo... *very sad*" as some character I really loved gets murdered in some very ugly, graphic and very final way (since many heroes in anime "die" but then come back) and everything fails.

They even go very far with those things. It's not enough to just horribly kill the beloved character, they have to have a scene where friend finds the body and... Well, let's say they did something pretty nasty instead of a nice, sad funeral scene.

*Checking the wiki~* Aw, damn, I did spell it wrong... Anyway, I was talking about Daisya Barry. God, just the fact that Tiedoll cried about his death was enough to make me cry. I'm an empathetic crier.

Oh, the football guy. I actually forgot about him completely. I swear, it's a long time since I watched it. But yeah, that was actually a developed character and it seemed like he's going to stick around as permanent secondary character.

But if you want to get emotional, go watch Attack on Titan, I promise you won't regret it. And even if the "deep feeling" were just unique to me, the action and animation is still worth it. (Really, why are you still reading, go watch, nao.)

Honestly, this is going to sound quite stupid, and cheesy, but why not? Well, honestly...

The song "First Date" - Blink-182...

Because of the lyrics and how it's put together, I guess it brings back memories for me, and it hurts inside... I hate when it happens, but a lot of songs manage to do that to me these days...

Various scenes from Uchouten Kazoku made me break down. The whole of episode 8 was an emotional journey. That and the last several Harry Potter movies were heavy stuff. I can't believe I never bothered to watch those before.
