Howdy All!

Picked up the book at the local B&N store today.

Got to say GM Berrow did a pretty good job in writing the book.

It adopts Megahan McCarthy's screenplay of the film onto the book.

With GM adding a few other things.

(Wont say what it is no spoilers)

Its worth picking up.

Cant wait what IDW does with their comic version of the movie.

See ya!

What grade level would you say the book was written on? I'm very interested in reading it and hope it's not on too basic a level. I know that must sound odd after everyone has seen me post on who the target audience is, but I'd like to see someone write it as a "serious" novel.

Howdy all!

If you read any of other MLP Books (Twilight Sparkle & Pinkie Pie's) From GM the target are for the kiddies.

The thing is it reminds me of the animated series but side stories.

In the Novel adapatation to the EG movie has most of the funny scenes plus some other stuff added in that was not in the film.

So yeah if you like the movie go ahead read the book give it a try.

(You can also get it by way of B&N's NOOK also for tablets)

Hope this helps.

I have read reviews of her other books on Amazon and the main people who down rate them are the ones who say that the book is too advanced for their 5 year old daughter.

I have read some of The Crystal Heart Spell and it is definitely more for 8-10 year olds, but I feel like I can read it without feeling like an idiot. It has the spirit of the show and it doesn't talk down to kids or anything.

I would also like to know if the extra stuff adds to the story... or if there is at least character development for a certain side character that people keep hating on.
