Chunky vs. Smooth Peanut Butter

Smooth peanut butter for sure for me ! I have had chunky and why should I have to crunch my peanut paste XD?

Two thirds prefer smooth?!  I'm genuinely shocked.  I really am.  I thought it would be the other way around.  I typically don't like chunks of anything in my food.  I like most things smooth.  Chunks of onion and pepper in Mexican food are horrible.  But chunky peanut butter is more along the lines of cookies n cream ice cream.  Yes, I want chunks of oreo in my ice cream and milk shakes, please, and I want chunks of peanuts in my peanut butter.

 

I've been meaning to give Rhett & Link's patented peanut butter ice cream sandwich a try, and I think I'll use smooth for that, though.  Probably better for making into a frozen wafer.

Chunky is the only way peanut butter is even mildly acceptable. Even then, it's pretty nasty. Most peanut/peanut butter products are nasty. Including peanuts. *grinchface*

Maybe I just have not had enough of it to really enjoy it but I was never fond of chunky peanut butter. Something about the crunch always threw me off so I prefer smooth. I have always loved it.

 

I have not had chunky peanut butter in years, so I may need to try that again at some point.

Depends on what it's for. Usually I only have peanut butter with a PB&J sandwich, and in that case I prefer chunky. It's nice to have a little texture rather than just a mouthful of mush.

But really, chunky for me is preferred but I don't mind smooth. With smooth, I feel like a dog endlessly licking the peanut butter.
