Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash

So lil' fellas. 

I haven't made any artwork of nearly any kind in a long-ass while. (Not that ya'll actually noticed.) But, I decided to power through a drawing to just make it's existence actually possible.

 

For some reason, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo seem to have adventures around a random 1984 Chverolet Chevette. No idea why. Only logical explanation is: "Because Chevette."

 

One could even argue that Scootaloo is attempting to revive her ass tattoo from this Chevette.

 

So, you will probably notice in this picture the excessive amount of shading with a very mediocre mechanical pencil. Yeah I know it's bad, and it's totally supposed to be. I mean seriously, I was bored half a minute into shading all that shit. I then began not to give one shit how the letters turned out considering I just wanted to get this done so I could play Forza Motorsport 4.

Why not just stop and come back to it you ask? Well, I'll tell you why. I still have vinyl groups on Forza Motorsport 4 that are 3 months old that are still not finished. I just simply am too lazy.

 

Anyways folks. If you really feel the need to tell me what's wrong with this picture, don't. I really don't give a shit what's wrong with it.

And for all you out there that are going to say: "Well ponies don't have eyebrows" They indeed do. I seen it in one episode that I cannot recall and do not care enough to look up.

 

But if you wanna be all like "Awesome shit bro", go for it. Positive feedback is the kitty's meow.

All I can say is nice. You did a great job in the ponies, and I love the detail that you placed into the vehicle. And those two sure have the guts to mess with Nicholas Cage's property.

I remember first one you did there and the new one is a nice follow up.  Great stuff!  You have some real talent there.  But why a Chevette of all cars?  It was one of the most forgettable cars of the early 80s.

Why not a Chevette? The Chevette is the most glorious of all automobiles. A car whose design specifications simply required something that would "fuck shit up". ALL HAIL THE CHEVETTE. CHEVETTE IS GOD.

And the Chevette. Simply enough put by our friend Mr. Carter, but I'll elaborate.

 

These pictures (especially the mailbox one) would really not have the same effect with any other vehicle. I mean, it really just has to be a Chevette. Like, I am personally not a fan of Lamborghinis and Ferraris and other fancy crap. I am a fan of the simple life that induces unique vehicles such as our lil' buddy the Chevette.

So many people these days don't know what a Chevette is and that's because of it's inner majesty. It simply puts off things such as style, wonder and awesomeness. One with esqusite tastes doesn't just shrug off the presence of a Chevette. One embraces it. The Chevette was the car that made the late 70's and most of the 80's what it was. (and the AMC Gremlin) 

 

You see, sure if coulda been a nice fancy car or something everyone would recognize, but to really make a piece of artwork touch it's viewers in places even they had no idea existed, you gotta go far off the beaten down pavement. You gotta do a couple rights, a lotta lefts and burn up those open back roads for new images to toss in peoples minds.

 

Just like Granddaddy used to never say: Well, I don't expect a lot, man like, pretty much, if the hut doesn't burn down, it's been a good day and even if it burnt down, man, it's cool, 'cause I got three or four more of these little huts somewhere...

 

Take it as comes, not how it goes.
