Promoting oneself?

How go abut it, what to do and what not too do, i feel this is important questions and should be reflected appon. So thought make topic abut it, for myself and others vise promote what they do like art,videos, music etc.  I would like hear your thought abut the subject. And hopefully what you have to say will make just bit wiser.

The mistake that most people make on promoting themselves, they try to promote what they are doing on other channels. Anyway, to promote yourself the right way is to try to be yourself and tell some people that would want to see your videos about your channel or try to make your channel known on your own.

Having a lot of great friends is a huge part of expanding, the right people will always take the oppurtunity to help out. Surrounding yourself with people like that not only does it promote you, but it helps you improve your content, and keep your confidence up. No one ever makes it to the top without support one way or another.

 

Another splice of advice is to be more involved in new groups, and new ideas with potential. Getting in on these projects from the start will almost always pay off later. Being a helping hand, or just being around while it unfolds. This can earn you respect, and a substantial amount of followers in the long run.

 

I hope some of that helped. I know I wouldn't have any followers if it weren't for my friends, even though I'm not really anybody as of now

For art, join an art website and upload your works there. First you can get feedback from your friends and then move onto thumbshare forums and art groups. You could also request for critiques - this can both help you improve and get recognized.

 

Don't beg others to view yours works or leave feedback and don't whine about how little views you're getting.
