Am back, still recuperatin but ah can git back online (that's already sufficient, yes?), then suddenly CANDYGRAM for Halloween greeted me in mah e-mail.

 

So, ah am struck by an idea, but first things first.....

 

Question: do your parents allow you to receive and send anything to online friends (e.g.: MLPforums buddies)?

 

If many of you are able to have parental consent (just be honest with them, say that it is for Christmas's community project with your real friends existing all across the globe on your fave forum), I am going to begin with the mass Poniverse Secret Santa event (further info will be included upon receiving your replies to this topic).

 

 

What say you?

 I know, why not we make an event for Christmas (since Halloween is going to end soon) where we send presents across the globe to another Poniverse member?

I'd like to be involved with this, but the only way I can see myself being involved is sending online things to each other. I can't see my parents allowing me to spend money towards people I'll probably never see face-to-face

I'd love to join in! Though, I don't think my parents would like for me to mail out things to random people they don't know, across the globe. ;__;  I can only send things online though, like a picture...of the gifts. :'D

This really does sound like a great idea, and while I don't necessarily need parental consent to join in (being in college makes that sort of thing much easier  ) I do sort of have an issue with giving out my address to people on the internet...  Sorry, it's not that I don't trust you guys, it's more that I don't trust anyone.  Maybe it could be something like the candy gram event we had not too long ago? (all candy grams were sent via PM/status update/etc)

This sounds like a great idea. Though I don't know if I would be able to do it since my mom doesn't really know I have friends on this site and i'm kind of afraid to tell her since it would be kind of hard to explain though it sounds fun

The only thing I'd be able to do is online stuff (my parents believe that using cash online or sending/receiving items is a recipe for Armageddon), but I'd love to contribute however I can.

As much as I'd like to toss in my parents are very.. Strict in the Internet, they think the Internet is full of pedophiles everywhere you look . dunno how they even let me on the Internet frankly..

 

They don't know I'm a brony, and never in a million years would allow me to send gifts or receive them.

 

So unfortunately I can't participate as much as I'd love to.

 

But I do want to say that I hope this turns out good! It's a great idea!
