Ever been in the Deep Web?

I've...heard stories from comrades that have ventured into this dark void, and have myself visited the hub of 4chan. I...don't think I'll be going back there again. Maybe for /m/, but that's pretty standard for mecha fans. /b/? Not so much. *shudder*

Yep, I have seen some hilarious stuff, sick stuff, WTF random stuff and stuff that is a mixture of all 3. I have had numerous reactions from confusion, arousal, amusement and occasionally disgust it all depends. I have a sick sense of humor so I find a lot of things that some other people are repulsed by funny and am a bit of a perv so um yeah I think you can probably use your imagination on that one.

Not sure if this counts, but there is the Harlequin Baby screamer along with a few other creepy stuff

No I haven't. Access to which requires the use of Tor and I'm way to lazy for that. Though from what I understand, 4chan's /b/ doesn't hold much of a candle to the dark web.

I can neither confirm nor deny myself being the cause of electrical related malfunctions. Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have a jar of replacement magic smoke would you?

/b/ asked me to be their new queen about 4 months ago.

I frequent bestgore. Usually 2 times a week.

I've dabbled around in TOR and FreeNet before. I found them both fascinating and I was mostly playing around with them, but I'm just going to stay at the surface web level and occasionally the strange side of Youtube. I thankfully didn't use either long enough to find anything scary.

Yes I have.  It is only really scary if you look for that sort of thing.  Almost anything you can imagine can be found there.  Massive free book libraries, of course the darker stuff... ordinary image boards, program archives... it's an interesting place.  Sadly, finding the scarier side is much easier than finding anything that is remotely heart lifting.

ive been there. got traumatized when i got to a site called 'the human project', there are some sick people on this world. never going back there again

I have no idea what the "deep web" is. Can you explain what that means?
you know the web that you use right now? like all the stuff you can find using google and stuff?

that's only 0.03% of the actual internet.

the rest is called the deep web. it is called this because it is so enormous, it becomes deep. pretty much everything can be found on the deep web. from hired killers to doorway delivered drugs to normal websites and libraries to weapons.

eeyup. also, the deep web is all about anonymousity. you can't even access it if you don't use a special anonymous browser. so basically, it's ultimate digital freedom. nothing can track you there.

sadly, alot of people use this digital freedom to do the worlds most messed up things.

I have heard legends of this. Of how it has lured poor, helpless souls into its depths with its mysterious allure. Of how countless souls have been corrupted to the point of madness. And of how others have seemingly turned it around, profiting off of the downfall of others.

I have not seen it myself, and I have no desire to. But, I warn thee, succumb not to the Darknet's Siren-like calling, lest thee never return...
