Is it just me, or is the site REALLY broken at the moment? BBCode mode keeps freezing up, Pages take 2 - 3 minutes to load at a time and I keep getting told I dont have permission to view the community...

I get the feeling the Clockwork is going to end up blowing someone up. I also get the feeling it's going to be himself... 

 

On topic: Over the next few hours I'm going to start steering folks to bed - not immediately, but we could use at least progressing onto the train. No need to rush, just saying I'm going to start steering the RP in that direction.

It is broken, I can't even access my content page at all anymore.

 

lol, yeah, he might end up in trouble if Ragestar comes at him with that fire magic. But he's got some tricks up his sleeve. He won't usually use the explosives unless there's a good tactical reason to. Clockwork is more of a con artist, he works on the manipulation of relations and situations. Always looking for the best rout to success and fortune on his own part.

I wasn't sure how to go about this: an idea I wanted to run by you:
 
I Initially intended for Orion's group to be working into the night - they aren't interested in the train and so on - so was wondering if you thought it would get too confusing if they continued on the same timespan when the rest of the RP time-skipped? They would then catch up with their own time-skip shortly after, story events willing.

I don't think it should really make a difference for the RP. None of our characters in Orion's group will be interacting with the ones on the train, so I don't see it being an issue.

Clockwork: Umm... If you tell him to leave his explosives and other assorted dangerous artifacts at home, I might invite him for tea.

 

Scribbler: He's a very interesting character, and he seems to have grown quite a bit since running into Orion in the forest.

lol well, Clockwork isn't somepony you'd generally want to hang with. Although he would have you believe that he was a gentlecolt, with a crafty guise and a suave demeanor.

I'm glad you think Scribbler has grown, I've been developing my OC's as I go. I'm really looking forward to getting Clockwork developed in the same way.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Scribbler reluctant to venture into danger at first? Then at the end of Chapter 1, he tries to get Willow and the Litany to safety without any hesitation.

I believe most of them are in the main bar: It's a dingy place that Kingfisher pointed them towards because she knows the owner: it's the place her and Red were during the Changeling attack in 'A Canterlot Wedding' so the owner owes them... not that it stops him charging them for drinks and such.

 

Pavisa, Aegis, Kingfisher and Eclipse are at the bar. Blast and Frost are talking. I think Icy is near them too and I believe Crimson is lurking somewhere.

All the while Midnight Sky and Sunshine are off on their own missing out on the drinks. Granted Sunshine is underage and Midnight doesn't like alcohol, but still, neither of them are ever around when the Team Brandy is living up to it's name.

Well, she's still new to this who 'leadership' thing - she's not used to making decisions. That, and with the group they had in their last adventure, it really is a case of her thinking 'Sure, why not? We've got everything else under the sun!'

Besides: she said they could come to the Crystal Kingdom with them and talk to Bardic - no special criteria for that - she just thinks that they are being eccentric

Well, it's nearly night, so finding somewhere to stay would be a good idea. In the morning, Noble will teleport to Canterlot, Team Brandy (Kingfisher and Co.) leave on a train to the Crystal Empire/Kingdom/whatever it is, and Team Super-Serious (Orion and Friends) will be doing their little thing.

 

Does that help at all?
