I don't have an issue like that with my computer, my phone does that constantly though!  It will notify me of posts a couple of hours after I saw them on my laptop, and I just sit there staring at it going "That's not new!"

I can cook for real if I have to, but I usually don't.  Unless I'm camping.  I can cook on a campfire better than I can on a stove.

I love cooking a lot and it's also a cultural thing too. I'm Guamanian ( Pacific Islander variation ) and basically all the guys HAVE to learn how to cook at the start of their adolescence, why? It's for the sole purpose of impressing people and treating that special someone if you ever do find somebody.....that and we don't have to bother mom anymore about dinner...although I'm fairly certain that last part was an add-on...because it came from my mom...huh.

I also really like to cook, but I've never really put in the effort to learn how to make anything, hence why I'm taking a food class. My mom's 100% Dominican born and raised so she really tries to encourage everyone to cook and stuff. She's also a really good cook, although she mainly only makes latin/Dominican dishes, so I'm not exactly sure on her capabilities outside of that. My dad cooks other things like steak and stir fry, which is good. Hopefully I'll get better at cooking and be able to do it more often

I can cook decently. If I have a recipe to follow, that's fairly easy to do. I'm not the best experimenting though. However, when I get the food myself, and when I say get the food, I mean make from scratch, which if it's meat, includes killing and gutting the animal, then I seem to suddenly know what to do. However, with things like fish it's hard to mess up. All you need to do is add generous amounts of lemon juice, butter, and old bay, old bay being the best seasoning ever made in the history of man and it's a crying shame that it's only available in the Del-Mar-Va area. Actually, if you are willing to order seasoning online, order a tin of Old Bay from McCormick. You can put it on literally anything, popcorn, fish, chicken, steak, vegetables, chips, the works. A friend of my dad's even puts it on cheerios, but I'm not a fan of that. Vennison is easy too if you just grill it and put (you guessed it) old bay BBQ sauce on it.

I almost wanted to name him Joey, but my Rattata that I just had in Soul Silver was named Jim, and he was completely useless aside from having Cut, which is why I mad him on the Fencing Team XD And don't worry, he's not gonna be a big character so I'll only be writing a minuscule amount for him during the fencing sessions.

Ugh I need to grind now. I just beat Jasmine about 10 levels under leveled. Don't think I could take on Pryce like this, and I now I want be able to take on Claire for sure. Hopefully I can get Ice Beam somewhere for Quagsire.

Well, Pryce will be easy with Quilava/Typhlosion. You can easily catch an ice-type in the Ice Cave on the way to Blackthorn. Also, if you can, try to catch a dunsparce. They're so rare, but so cute and underused.

Well yea I have a quilava, but he's even more under leveled than the rest, so I can just go blazing through () with him how he is. He did practically nothing in the fight against Jasmine. He barely took out her first magnemite with his life, and then I just used Quagsire for the rest. Cuz Quagsire is a super tank.

Bryce uses Water types more than Ice types, so Quilava would likely get taken out by Dewgong.  Better off with a strong electric type against him.  

 

As far as Claire goes, my vote is catch a Swinub in the Ice path, evolve it, then teach it ancientpower from the move tutor in blackthorn so you can evolve him again.  Mamoswine is a wrecking ball.  Ice Shard for priority and Avalanche for power on him, he'll eat dragons for breakfast.
