Is MLP popularity international or worldwide?

 I wonder how popular is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? How many countries have fans or bronies? I can imagine Japan loving this cartoon to pieces.

As far as I know, the series has really taken off in the UK. Not sure about Japan though. It seems like it'd be one of those shows that could go either way over there; just because it's kawaii desu   doesn't always mean it's popular

It's in a lot of Countries. Its all around, quite a popular thing. Worldwide most defiantly.

International and worldwide are pretty much the same thing by the way .

 

I actually remember seeing a google doc where all bronies on this website pinned their location on the map, and there was a good amount of bronies in most continents. I'm sure an administrator or moderator could provide a link if they can.

I remember seeing a graph a few weeks back that showed that MLP is gaining ground in various foreign nations. It's reached most of the world and it's growing quickly in places like the U.K.

It's relatively popular here in Australia. I see some brony shirts being sold in some shops, and I've met a fair few bronies.

I was in Japan when the first episode of the Japanese dub aired. I didn't get to watch it live, though. :/ MLP seems most popular in Canada, US, and UK.
