Digital painting program recommendation

Hi i maybe start this thread unnecessary but i have no ide where i should pst my qeustion. wich programme should i use if i'm a beginner and wanna use a easy programme to draw ponies or something?

 

(A programme i can download without any costs please)

Get rich quick scam...ever heard of it? it takes time to get good at this kind of stuff, don't expect to be rich in one day.

a lot of people (and me) use Photoshop for drawing ponies, I also hear that SAI or something is quite good,and its free AFAIK, but I have not looked into it.

 

Ideally you'd be using illustrator if you want vector ponies and not raster( what you end up with photoshop)

 

On a slightly related note, spell check, use it.

Use SAI, I hear good things of it as a computer drawing program.

mypaint is a fantastic program that is free, supports graphic tablets and supports pressure sensitivity.

Paint.net is pretty affective, and dispite its name it is not a website. just search it on google. Its what i use for my comics.

I've also heard great things when it comes to SAI, seems very user friendly and such Not too sure about the cost though.

SAI is a wonderful program. You can download a trial for 30 days, then pay $50 for a license for the full version. But I can almost put my money on the bet there is a cracked version out there somewhere (I guess a full version for free, why call it cracked?)

As everyone else has mentioned, SAI. If you don't want to pay money, there ARE options...if you know what I mean.

Photoshop is pretty much the best that's available, but it's also very pricey. (About 700$)

You can download the demo for free if you're interested though and you will have it for 30 days.

Have you looked into using Gimp? Its a free version of photoshop, only downside decent learning curve but otherwise a great program to use.

I like Paint tool sai, it's pretty straight to the point and can do lineart too.

Paint Tool SAI definitely though photoshop is decent too depends kinda which you prefer/are more used to
