OMG, yes...... That episode your referring to gave me a headache as well as caused several thousand japenese kids to seizure...... Very dark moment indeed.

I can agree with the OP the lavender town and Saffron city ark was probably the darkest. I mean come on, the gym leader wanted to keep them as real life toys and was possessed. It sounds like something out of a creepy pasta.
