Last year had some disappointments and failures. Feel free to discuss what you think is the worst you've seen. My picks are The Fifth Estate, Man of Steel, Kick Ass 2, Olympus Had Fallen, White House Down, and Insidious Chapter 2. Also check out the nominees for the Golden Raspberry Awards.

World War Z, because it has every zombie movie cliche that we've seen before so it wouldn't be surprising if not a lot of people didn't like it.

The only people who didn't like it are fans of the novel, which is nothing to do with anything that happened in the book.

Man of Steel was one of the most terrible movies ever, just like any Superman movie will ever be. Superman Returns is slightly better at least. The original Superman movies were legit.

Probably gonna get a lot of hate for this, but The Wolf of Wall Street was probably one of the worst movies I've seen in 2013. Basically, take an amazing movie like Rush, get rid of all the kickass racing scenes and only take the sex scenes, add a bunch of drug scenes (some of which are actually comical but cannot save the movie from sucking- get it? Ha ha! I'm so funny!), a terribly written script that sounded like something made by a 12 year old who played too much COD, and slap Leonardo DiCaprio's face on the poster, and people come rushing in to see it, only to leave traumatized by the horrible execution. Great premise, terrible execution, so much wasted potential.

Last year, I was unfortunate enough to be subjected to World War Z, Man of Steel, The Lone Ranger (which actually isn't half as bad as everyone says it is once you get passed Johnny Depp's attention whoring), and even The Fucking Host. And even after all that, World War Z still came away with the golden turd nugget for the worst, most heinous excuse for a film that I had seen all year, and for quite a few years prior as well.

The only people who didn't like it are fans of the novel, which is nothing to do with anything that happened in the book.

I've never even read the book. World War Z is just a colossal failure on every conceivable level, book or no book.

Amoral cynic with a bitchin' vocabulary.

Check out A Century of Song if you like music from before this millennium.

Percy Jackson 2. I read all the books before the movies came out, and to be honest I think the books are way better the movies. The whole plot of the books was Percy turning 16, and in the first movie he started out as 16. What?

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

Awful, awful movie. Terrible story, terrible characters, cheap Twilight-like characterization and Twilight itself is quite bad already. Strongly recommended as comedy. I had lots of laugh with my friend in cinema. As comedy it gets 10/10. But it's not comedy. So I give it 0/10.

This here literally just stopped me from deciding to go see this movie in the cinemas.

Jordan Belfort's actual memoir was really good and his story was intersting, but the movie ruined everything good about the book.

GI Joe: Retaliation, A Good Day to Die Hard, After Earth, R.I.P.D and Frozen

NOTE: Yes, I hated Frozen. If you are willing to rage at me, try to remember that it's my OPINION. I'll say that again, OPINION

Also people who like their movies to have a shred of reality somewhere in there, want to respect the property despite never reading the book, or just like decent movies.

The Host! You just can't beat the amazing amount of absolute sucking in that movie!

After Earth. I saw it in theaters and already thought it was a bad movie, but this review explains so much...

It's really funny cause I only liked the movie for shallow reasons like Jaden almost getting eaten. XD

lol xD I only saw it cuz my uncle was offering to pay, so I thought "Why not?".

I also hated the whole concept of "ghosting" (or whatever). It's like they were implying that you shouldn't have any fear at all, rather than having the courage to actually face those fears.

Yeah, that was a pretty unintelligent concept. XD Everyone had fears for a reason. In some cases, It's why we have dreams.

Yep. And since they went along with this concept anyway, they could have at least went into more depth about it. Like, how exactly does this "ghosting" work? How do you just not have any fear all of sudden? Then again, going into more depth about it probably would have just further revealed how dumb of a concept it was. :/

Hehe, yeah, but it would at least make the set-up of it a little less sucky. XD Gosh, It's worse than the concept of Princess Anna and Queen Elsa's parents' screen-time. (I swear, I absolutely adore the movie, other Frozen fans!)

I though "A Good Day to Die Hard" was a dumb movie, I have been a fan of the first three "Die Hard" movies forever, they were self contained, had good continuity and good action, John Mcternan is a better action film director than Michael Bay, but this film does not even feel like "Die Hard" except for Bruce Willis' character John Mclain, the rest of the movie looks like an anti Russian propaganda film, portraying the Russians as cartoony stereotypes, or as corrupt criminals, plus suspension of disbelief was also a casualty in this film, the main characters could have been injured or killed in many of the stunts depicted, and it was contrived to put Chernobyl in the plot too, even though it's in northern Ukraine, but because it is seen as this Russian folly it was included, I would skip this movie if you like "Die Hard".

The Host. Easily the worst film ever because Stephanie Meyer is just illiterate and because Andrew Niccol looks like an old leather shoe.
