technology Router support: ethernet cable not detected

My parents have sworn that they will cut off my internet in retaliation for poor, non-transcripted grades lately. Fortunately, they remembered only to take my laptop. My Kindle Fire's battery is dead, so I'm posting this from my 3DS late at night.

My personal, secure router is a Netgear N900 a year old. I have checked the connections and turned it off and on again, but the control panel at 192.168.1.1 says the ethernet is unplugged. On first check, the wall end was indeed unplugged (suspicious), but I have fixed that and the router does nothing different. My LAN works, my internet doesn't. The cord is intact.

What do I need to fix?
