An idea for Equestria Girls.

Okay, time to beat the dead horse once more. Ironically. Now Equestria girls was... not very popular to say the least. So rather than tell you why, I am going to throw you guys an Idea I had to see if it could have made the film better. So here it is.

"What if, in Equestria Girls, Twilight met up with different characters rather than inter dimensional versions of her friends?"

 

I would like to know your thoughts. Would it have made it better, worse, totally screwed it over a pinball machine? Post in the comments and we will see where this little thought takes us. Hopefully not over a cliff.

If the relationship between Twilight and the different characters is developed and that it serves a purpose, then I think that would be an idea that I can accept then.

I think that would defiantly screw with the plot. With out the mane 5's help in the human world twilight would be doomed. Plus she would basically be on her own.

It would be a bit harder to market then. What Hasbro was trying to market with that movie was your favorite ponies as humans, not completely random humans you've never seen before. And the issue with EqG was an issue with a lot of movies made by TV crews, they just don't know how to handle plot and pacing in cinema in general. So no, it would still have been lame.

I think that could lead to trouble for Hasbro since that idea could deviate away from and destroy the friendship that Twilight has with her friends.

 

Twilight would need to develop a strong friendship with the 5 different humans she meets and also to have it served for a single purpose and not just for gimmicks, that idea, if not taken fully into account by the MLP TV crew since that was their first attempt at a movie, wouldn't be plausible in my books.

I don't think that's a good idea. It would make it hard for Hasbro and Twilight would always need her friends for help.

Yeah, I don't think that would have made it better. But honestly, I don't think it needed to be better. I thought it was a fantastic movie.

Are you talking about background ponies? Like Lyra, Bon Bon, Tavi, Vinyl, Derpy, and Colgate?

Or just different characters altogether?

What if those "different characters" represented the Elements of Harmony in that world (excluding Magic)!
