I don't like picking favorites, though; that's not really my thing.*

:P

Sorry, but I don't get it :/

Or wait, did you correct my sentence? In that case I get it xD

Don't bother looking dis shet up on Wikipedia, this be classical education. You know, the one you learn about when reading in books and stuph.

Wasting the day on some forgotten part of the Librarum shifting over books until you find something that strikes your eye.

Besides, it's the kinda stuff you learn in reading about, not lurking or listening to teachers who only read the material they need you to make a productive member of the society.

In other words, it's irrelevant unless you are interested and happen to bump into it in some dusty book.

Moderatii(?);

(Unsure of the proper grammar. Root word should be latin and somewhat similiar.)

The most educated person without bias to the matter that ensured discussion was civil, and was also responsible for adjudicating a solution if there was none to be found with in reasonable amount of time.

You know, back when they founded all those funky ideas like Math and Physics in Ancient Greece in dem open air Forums.

And then we have Moderators, who are essentially glorified censors, who base their opinions on personal bias, hap-hazard copy-paste rules and science-knows-what and only REMOVE content and initiation of conversation, as compared to resolving situations, based on those opinions, not facts or their knowledge pool.

Since removal has become synonym with resolution, apparently.

I suppose it makes sense in a privately owned forums and what-not's since certain content is liable to be prosecuted by law.

Still it strikes me odd that such a root word has evolved into something that is not close to being relevant.

I blame pig-latin and poor translations.

After all, Arena for free discussion has the concept of "Off-Topic" these days. I can only imagine Aristotle's face when someone tells him that fluid physics is "Off-Topic" and he should take it elsewhere.

Original "moderators" were masked, anonymous.

Out of respect to their friends that they might be moderating and in order to appear completely un-biased.

Moderatii was never referred to in person but by glancing on his direction and he only made himself known by raising his hand to call for a pause or to point out a resolution.

Compared to modern cults of personality and target practice for trolls.

Decided to share since I found it interesting, maybe some of you will too.

And no information is without bias so I added some for you to cling on instead of the facts.

  • 2 weeks later...

Zoop: is ummm.... awesome (yeah right) even though he calls girls icky but his awesomeness and almighty baldness makes me tolerate his opinions.

Kyronea: damn, never stops writing his daily logic, he is a total Twilight Sparkle in a human's body!

Jonke: he was acting like a total Fluttershy in the forum's chat box when it was opened

As for others, don't really know what to say Posted Image

I like them a hell of a lot better than the moderators on the other MLP boards I frequented awhile back. They seem to be a lot cooler, even MORE than 20% cooler. They let people actually talk and gasp, potentially argue/discuss even touchy subjects. I used to HATE the old forum because as SOON as it looked like an argument was even slightly brewing, the topic was INSTALOCKED. I'm not even kidding. They hated Discord of any type. And honestly, what fun is the world without Discord? :D So thanks mods, for being cool folks who don't have sticks shoved firmly where the sun don't shine. You rock. :)

Shut up. We know you were planning to take over the Forums by not speaking to any of us back then. D:

Never been on a different forum substantially, but from what I can tell Mods are amazing. Super friendly, useful, and they let us post ponies even while they're awake! :P

Course they do =o Dem mods are ponies themselves after all 83 Wouldn't be much of a poniez forum if poniez couldn't be posted on your poniez~

Keep this place family friendly?

I've seen some words around here...

Other than that, these mods are actually interactive with the users, and do more to make the users laugh/have fun than the LEGO.com mods do... Trust me, I use my LEGO.com account to post of the Message Boards, and those LEGO.com mods mods don't partake in any cake really, except to warn users or in the "Talk to the Mods" thread. I love these mods... in a friendly way.
