What kind of fighting style would your favorite MLP character have?

I don't know why but for some reason I've always though Rainbow Dash would be a master with the nunchucks

damn, my favorite character is Rarity but I can't get to find something appropriate for her fighting style, especially if magic isn't allowed.

 

I think she would be the kind of character that uses submission, barelly physical, but agile and quick as lighting, being able to find human weakest points and neutralize them by applying painful and effective grips.

Yes. And as for Pinkie's fighting style...Well, whatever they use in Dragonball.

 

 

Also, Fluttershy uses a fighting style known as animalbending. Like, she picks up squirrels and things and fashions nunchucks out of them, stuff like that.

First off, I love SMILE HD, but the mods are going to kick your ass for posting it.

 

Second of all, Pinkie is using Kid Buu's fighting style in the video. She stretches her limbs slightly with every hit and takes no care at all, knowing her foe can hurt her

With her speed, Rainbow could easily psych her opponents out and go for a good blow. A knockout could occur in 10 seconds flat...literally.

On the other hand, Rainbow's a bit of a coward. See her reaction to Flutterbat. It's doubtful she'll be so aggressive and will instead simply try out fly by passes, much safer

I would not say she's a coward; most likely if her opponent overpowers her, she could use her speed to escape.

She was slapped once by Flutterbat and that was enough to make Rainbow run away and turn into a quivering pile of jelly that was unable to fight. Rainbow won't be getting up in her opponent's grill, she's too yellow for that. Even worse, it is very easy to psyche out Rainbow, whether by frightening her(Flutterbat) or attacking her ego(everyone has done this)

She'd obviously be some sort of mage if it was a fantasy setting. Otherwise if she was still able to use magic she'd somehow incorporate it into whatever weapon she is using. Like maybe a magic gun or something. Without magic though... uhh... uuhh..... Throw books? It can be effective...

 

 

I bet Discord wouldn't even need to use a weapon or lift a finger. He'd just trick people, troll them, and mindfuck them and make them go insane heheh.

Rarity has shown some kung-fu prowess before, she did jump kick Applejack in the face when discorded after all(and was strong enough to carry a giant boulder around with her even in that state), as well as the manticore before that when completely sane. Not to mention she's punched a changeling or two in the face

So yeah, Rarity is totally secretly a blackbelt in karate. It's pretty much canon. :comeatus:

Any fighting style Applejack will have will be simple, staightforward, yet effective. She is not looking to show off she is just looking to beat the crap out of you, Look up pro wrestlers Brock Lesnar, Shamus and Wade Barrett and you will get a very good idea of what Applejack would do in a fight. I think her specific style would be a combination of boxing, basic street fighting and some basic wrestling holds and throws with the difference between her and the fighters I mentioned being that she uses her legs a bit more than they do which would put a little bit Rob Van Dam in her as well.
