If it is someone I don't know it usually ends up with a sudden handshake.

If I know them it usually ends up with a positive response. Like a pet on the back, hug etc.

 

How are you when it comes to sudden contact with another human? Is it awkward or would you that you handle it well?

Welp, i got ninjad. Atleast the new question stays in theme.

 

If it's unwanted, i slowly turn my head to look at them, unblinking, and slowly adopt a toothy grin. That tends to fend em off. If it is "wanted", i'd smile at em. Or ignore it, if its just putting their hand on my shoulder or something. And if its a hug, they'll get a crushing hug in response.

 

What is yer usual defense mechanism in response to danger, threat, or simple uneasiness?
