Why the hell are the first 2 most searched terms both r34? Idk why but this make's me sad. I usually don't have anything against cloppers but it seems that r34 has gone a bit far, it's even an official google images sub-catagory... I remember seeing a movement to tag adult images of the show and remove them from sites that are accessible to safe search... Freedom of expression and all, but if a kid were to stumble onto it... If you try to look at this phenomenon as a discussion of "right and wrong," you're only setting yourself up for headaches. Take another good look at what rule 34 is: If it exists, there is porn of it. NO EXCEPTIONS. That part really needed emphasis... So yeah, this is just the natural order of things with the internet. This is something you should expect to find, much like how you would expect to find herbivores where there are plants and carnivores where there are herbivores. Like I said, just the natural order of things. We all know how grotesquely bloody nature can be and it may not seem right as to the degree of suffering endured by other conscious creatures in the wild but nobody really loses sleep over it simply because there's no sense in doing so. There isn't a guy that goes there and creates a sub-category for every single searched topic in Google. 5 I won't be a complete brony until I get a Thunderlane plushie and go to a convention. Thin text is clearly what I typed, bold stuff is what Google added by pulling from the top search terms it receives. Oh, and that was with safe search on and recently cleared cache. If I follow up and click on of those suggestions, R34 images are not shown (ones flagged anyways). Sad the suggestions still show up though with safe search on. I wouldn't expect there to be any exceptions, but this just goes to show how predominant it is if you have safe search off. The movement to flag stuff in search engines is very welcome, it's not just for MLP either. To take it a step further though, if you see something NSFW unflagged, just flag it. Although I really don't care. I have the common sense that if I don't want to see something, I won't click it. A thumbnail of the image isn't going to make me go on a quest to purge the internet of what I don't agree with. If it's something I do like though, well chances are it just got added to my collect without thinking twice. Big whoop. Terms in thin green text are exact word for word previous searched things or websites. Black bold... is suggested things you haven't necessarily searched for. I type in ma and the first result was maplestory because I've searched that game before. However it also suggests the top searched things too so :/ And the "sub category" which are actually just some searched terms that are chosen randomly (Or suggested. Evil Nightmares 552 March 9, 2014 Share March 9, 2014 I don't think that Rule 34 is getting bigger, I just think that there are more and more cloppers out there so Google is trying to make it easier for cloppers to get what they are looking for. I find this wrong in the sense that the younger audience can very easily find this as well. But then it also falls on the parents to have some kind of safe search to "try" and prevent there kids from gaining access to sites like Rule 34.
