So I found this link all over Facebook http://variety.com/2014/film/news/disney-plans-third-cars-the-incredibles-2-movies-1201137824/

Apparently Cars 3 and Incredibles 2 have been confirmed. Now I'v never cared for the Cars movies but the Incredibles, I loved that movie as a kid and I remember seeing the ending and have always wanted a squeal to it.

So what do you guys think? Discuss away!

Love the Incredibles, and I've also always liked Cars... don't get the hate for it, it's better than most Dreamworks films by a long shot.

Incredibles 2 would be interesting to see since a sequal hasn't come out yet after such a long time. Car 3 is meh I guess i would watch it. Haven't watched the 2nd one or the spin off Planes.

I also wonder why they would reboot it after such a long time but then again Finding Dory is in the makings so I can't really question it by that logic.

It's kind of like how they waited 11 years after Toy Story 2 to make Toy Story 3. And in that movie, I'm pretty sure the characters literally aged 11 years.

Welp if they do continuity like that I would be really intrigued and would love to see the changes in the characters.

I'm excited for Incredibles 2! I always used to tell my family: "Seriously, out of all Pixar films that needed a sequel, it was the Incredibles."

I'm not so excited about Cars. I hated part 2, and Planes wasn't that amazing either. In my mind, only the first Cars exists.

Oh this should be good. For the incredibles, it'll probably start where the 1st left off, the Rise of The Underminer. In Cars 3, it's probably gonna be more mission based, rather than race based.

Incredibles 2? Wait? Seriously? It's about damn time. That movie seriously needs a sequel. =

This news is so awesome!

They were probably like.. "Hey guys.. Lets wait a while before we release the sequel or just drop it for a while and see how much people demand a sequel before we release it!"

It's about time they announced Incredibles 2.

As for Cars 3, I guess it's great for the 5 people that wanted a sequel to Cars 2

Cars 2 was a lacklustre sequel compared to the original's brilliance. I hope they can find the spark (plug) again for the third. My son, though, will be happy.

I actually have not seen The Incredibles. Please don't hate me.

When I heard that it was confirmed, I was excited to finally have a sequel for the Incredibles 2 after it did very well when the first movie premiered. As for Cars 3, they made it because they want more money and that it is easy to target a kid audience to earn a quick buck. Not so happy to have Cars 3 though.

Now in my Driver's Ed class, we actually had to watch Cars 2. I was sketching well it was going on but the little I did pay attention to was terrible and boring. And the idea was so great too.

I quite liked The Incredibles, so I am actually really glad that they are working on a sequel for it. Cars 3, on the other hand, I have no interest in. The first Cars left a lot to be desired, and while I haven't seen Cars 2, I haven't heard too many good things about it.

Call me when they make a sequel to Ratatouille or Up. Those are my favorite Pixar movies to not receive a sequel yet. Then again, those two movies are prefect and don't need it.

Incredibles 2? Buck yeah! It's about time! That movies was just screaming for a sequel to be made.

BEHOLD THE UNDERMINER!!!

Wow.. I can't wait for this movie.

Cars 3 though? Meh. Didn't the second Cars movie suck? Why are they still making movies of their weakest series?

I love Disney and Pixar but I can't imagine what they would do for an Incredibles sequel unless they brought in a new Villain.  I am always wary of sequels.  Sometimes they are just fantastic but more times than not, they seem to be cashing in on a good thing with a lot less effort.

I actually liked Cars 2.  Not love, but I thought it was very cute.  Didn't see Planes which is unusual for me as I usually see everything.

One pony mentioned UP and Ratatouille.  Loved both, can't imagine a sequel.  Wall-ee is one of my favorites of all but can't imagine a sequel.

Now BRAVE would make an awesome sequel with Merida as an adult.  That would be fascinating.

But I digress.  I will definitely go to the movies to see the Incredibles sequel but will probably pass on Cars 3.

2014 was already a highly anticipated year for me for movies, but yes, I think 2015 will be better. Speaking of which I was just discussing Incredibles 2 and Cars 3. What an odd coincidence this topic came up~
