gaming Without it, your Pokemon team isn't complete

I know I been posting a bunch of Pokemon posts, but I been playing Pokemon A LOT and starting these topics are fun x3

 

So, does anyone have that certain Pokemon you usually always have in your team, that others either find useless or uncool? 

 

Like, for example, I have a Delcatty, level 100 in Pokemon X and people usually find Delcatty so useless and "too girly and cute" for battling. Yes, believe me, people have told me that. Frankly, Delcatty is one of my strongest and she is so powerful. Yes, she is cute as well. Without my Delcatty, my TEAM is useless, lol. She just makes it complete!!!!!

I hardly ever have the same teams in my runs, but there are certain Pokemon I see that I have to catch because I just think they are really cool mostly it's Sableye, Haunter (He's my favorite and I will never evolve him to Gengar), Spinarak, and some others I can't remember right now.

When it comes to Pokemon, I have a Haunter on my team just in case if he is the sole survivor. Other than that, people doubt me when I have him.

Yeah, well, Emboar, Delphox, Blastoise (he's better than charizard), Uh, Zoroak, Beartic, Lucario, (This is through all the games I played) Uh, you can't forget Luxray, he's the best. And of course, togepi. Nobody forgets the king of metronome. By the way, I think that's it.

Gengar and Arcanine are my usual standbys. Pokemon just isn't Pokemon without those two in my team! I usually have whatever the main bird Pokemon is in that particular game as well (Pidgeot, Swellow, etc).

Well, Gastrodon is a vital part of my team, and a lot of my Pokemon team up with him well in double battles, so I'll go with him. Such an underrated Pokemon.

I usually have a Raichu on my team, but not all the time. Raichu is my favorite Generation I pokemon, but I have a very odd thing against having pokemon of the same type on my team- so if I already have an electric type, I won't use Raichu.

He isn't underrated by any means, but for the last 3 playthroughs of pokemon games, I've had a Lucario. It's really too bad they banned his mega stone in OU.

BTW, want to mention, I cannot go anywhere without Vaporeon and Umbreon.  Those two are my tanks.

Whenever I play a third gen game I have to choose Mudkip as a starter. Not for the whole meme or anything, Mudkip is just my favorite Gen 3 starter.

 

 

 

For Gen 4, I always need a Staraptor to round out my team. I don;t usually have specifics for the rest of my team, but I gots to have that Staraptor every time.

 

 

For Soul Silver specifically, I don't think I could live playing that game without an Ampharos. Seriously.

Yes! There needs to be a Quagsire in my party, I used to have one in my party all the time when I used to play Pokemon! Didn't like its moves a lot but hey, it was still awesome and I always named my Quagsires "RESBALOSO," because resbaloso means "slippery" in spanish.

Yes, I have to agree with you too! The eeveelution family has always had a special place in my heart and it's become somewhat of a tradition for me to always use one of them on my team no matter which version or generation i'm playing.

 

The whole eevee line is just so versatile and the possibilities are endless with them (not to mention that they're also sooooooooo cute and adorable )!!!!!!! 

Sorry if it sounds like I'm gushing and fan-boying over the eeveelution line, I just can't help it!!!! I think the entire eevee family rivals the ponies in terms of cuteness  .

I don't really have any constants. since I like changing something every time I play. But I've played two games starting out with a Starly, which were Heartgold and Pearl. I used Staraptor to beat the games :3

Nicknames are constant, though. All of my team members have a nickname ^^ Like Starrzy and Starry, I'm so good at nicknames u guise, for reals.

Honestly, It depends on the generation.

I usually get these when they're level 5-10 and in their first form

1- I always have a Clefable. A lot of people don't see the use for a Clefable. Great special attacker, can learn a lot of moves.

Oh and I always get a Dugtrio. Great physical sweeper.

2- I've got nothing... Noctowl, maybe? Because it looks like Kaepora Gaebora?

See the similarities now? O.o

3- Exploud. HOW IS THIS WIERD? See Clefable. It's for the exact same reason, but Exploud is even more effective for it.

4- After the Elite Four, I get a Dusknoir. Best multi-type physical sweeper ever. PERIOD.

5- I haven't really played 5.

6- I have only played a friend's file.
