Has MLP Caused You To Live In A Fantasy World?

I usually don't have any problems with this. I care very much about penetrating the secrets of reality, and to be tied up in some other world that never was would be counter productive.

Oh, all the time! It usually only works if my eyes are closed, but veeeery rarely I get what I like to call, "Pony Vision". Whenever this happens, everyone around me turns into a pony for a short amount of time. Sometimes it's a canonical pony and sometimes my mind makes a custom pony. Either way, it's awesome!

This could be a really good idea!  Imagine being in a meeting at work that's boring as heck and you don't want to be there.  Wouldn't it be fun to imagine everyone there as a pony?  As long as you listen to what is being said so you can answer if you are asked a question, it could make the meeting a lot more fun.  Or a Dr.s waiting room or a boring party- anything you aren't enjoying- make everyone ponies.  I love it!  Thank you!

As much as I wish that MLP was real, I know it's not (in this dimension anyway). That doesn't stop me from often wishing that I was in Equestria though, or at least I get to meet my idol Celestia or one of the Mane 6. Discord would be cool to hang with as well. I could amuse him with the stupid decisions that celebs and world leaders make xD

Also, ever since I had a dream involving Rainbow Dash and Rarity, I've become more and more obsessed with the show.

Yeah. Fairly often. But what can I say? I love Equestria. If it were real...I'd never leave.

I also imagine myself as a pony, my OC's, how I'd go about daily life there, where I'd live if not in Ponyville or Cloudsdale, and what it's be like interacting with other ponies.

I did it when I was younger. I loved the old Disney movie Herbie: The Love Bug, and immediately fell in love with the character Herbie, the sentient Volkswagen beetle himself. Since then I always wanted to have, well, a car to be my friend. Sounds weird and creepy huh?

It gets weirder. Eventually, I actually came up with a fantasy world, populated by sentient cars, and I even started talking to our family car! Over the years this has faded off, however, I still love that movie.

I have fantasized about Equestria a little, not to a great extent. I truly feel sorry for those who can only wish that this world were like Equestria or some other made up fantasy, and do not have the assurance that even though this world may look bleak at times, one day they will move on to a much greater life where sadness and misery are not allowed, and live with our God of ever-abounding love for eternity.

When I'm watching the show, I try to tune myself in to where I feel like I'm in there with them. ^^"

Does that count? ^^"

Alot of bronies I would guess tend to do that and if so yes technically that can count

Sometimes I forget that others don't watch the show and I want to talk about it.  But seriously, how can you not want to talk about something so wonderful in so many ways?  Except for Equestra Girls.....the fandom wanted a movie, but I don't think that was what they wanted...

I engage in a bit of escapism every now and then but never so much to where I can't tell truth from fiction. I am still grounded in the real world even though cartoon ponies may occupy more of my thoughts than I ever thought they would.

Same with me.

No. I enjoy the world and the escapism, but I can separate fiction from reality and live my own life. The same applies with other things.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I feel like my ponyself is a symbolic alter ego of mine. Heck, which I commissioned him in plush form it was an amazing feeling. But it's only just an elaborate roleplay.

No. I'm perfectly fine in the real world I live in over here. The Forgotten Realms is an interesting place to live!

Jokes aside, I am grounded in reality.

I've noticed dissociative patterns on my personality, but these are also present in many other aspects of society. It is surreal to be able to observe this commonality between the various dissociative disorders that have been indoctrinated into the general public as the "norm". Effectively normalizing pathological behaviours derived from trauma. And trauma-based personality. A dissociative personality that is more a akin to an aritifical character than an organic individual.

You can even determine the type of dissociation, whether these are cultural, social, political, religious, military, etc, etc, etc. And they are all intended to serve the same system. But the cause for dissociation is still trauma. Meanwhile, these dissociative and anti-natural behaviours continue to increase. Many of which have been socially engineered into the public perception as new "trends". Rather than trauma-based responses, which is what they are in essence. Especially those of sexual nature. Symptoms of generational trauma and emotional damage caused by the program.

Have you ever wondered why society in general is so programmed? The "disconnect" in the collective and their lack of emotional capacity and response towards the source of these problems. I wonder why symptoms of autism are severely increasing on a global scale. And that is without taking into account the suicide rates. I supposed it is all "normal", correct? "A scientific mystery".

Anyway. The artificial construct is intended to create trauma by design. Because this trauma is what feeds addictive behaviours like consumerism and other compulsive tendencies sustaining this exploitative "capitalist" system. And it doesn't matter which branch you choose from the "options" provided, left, right, up, down. They are all variations on the same theme. Arms of the same axis. The system creates dependency upon the system. With the use of pharmaceutical drugs and psychological programming to "address" the trauma it has created in order to ensure said dependency. But all these paths lead back to rome. This is one of many problems. That "you are the problem". And most commonly accepted forms of therapy are intended to reintegrate you into this pathological environment that is made to look "normal" on the surface, by implementing acceptable social behaviours. Meanwhile in the dark...

But most people are so dissociated and programmed that this is the normal. A degree of autisitc dissociation is present everywhere, whether functional or otherwise. Because of the massive generational and intergenerational trauma caused to the collective. Focus on the trauma and its cause. You may be surprised as to what you can discover about this "reality".

I don't live in a fantasy world, but I do daydream about the world. Plus, I like to build my own headcanons, characters, and situations and imagine how things would develop. I love my OCs and I love just thinking about the adventures & such they be in.

That said; I'm a realist with a job and a property to take care of. I can't get too lost in my own thoughts. :p
