I'm kinda hopping it's not.  I'd like to see sweetie bell shine as the antagonist.  It's a big role.

I can't say that Sweetie Belle is an antagonist from that one scene, she is just upset and tells Rarity how she feels face to face. Nothing really to it, there is no way that she would be like the pony that she detests.

 

Somehow, we're going to see Sweetie Belle and Rarity learn a lesson and let the character development keep on rolling!

I believe the episode synopsis that have already been uploaded indicate that this is Rarity's fault.

 

I get the uneasy feeling that this episode may give Ghostie an aneurysm.

The synopsis stated that Rarity stole attention from Sweetie Belle, I believe, so it isn't putting Rarity in a villainous way (I hope )

I don't think they're gonna antagonize Sweetie Belle in this episode. If anything it's gonna be the opposite. We're gonna sympathize with her and watch her learn a lesson and have some character development.

By the sound of it, Sweetie Belle is feeling under Rarity's shadow. Rarity is just trying to help and Sweetie is seeing it as an effort to keep her down.

This episode has the potential to be one of the best of the entire series. But I guess that neither are going to change. This is just a misunderstanding that will get worked out in the episode. Of course... I may be surprised.

After watching this little video up top in the link, I can say that Rarity indeed, albeit unintentionally, stole the spotlight from Sweetie Belle and basked in it; however, she had no idea it was bothering Sweetie Belle so much and obviously feels remorse upon the revelation that it did bother Sweetie Belle.

 

Nothing to lose sleep over, it's going to be just swatting flies from the air if people decide to give her hate for her actions here.

I',m not aloud to say it's rarity's fault -_- .

But surely rarity couldn't possibly upstage her adorable, innocent, little sister.

Unfortunately, people live vicariously through negativity, and there's going to be some pseudo-intellectual nitpick made against her character; fortunately, though, it's not nearly as bad as it used to be, and she's getting a less ridiculous amount of hate, due to season 4 filling the cracks left by season 3 with the metaphorical granite thus far.

 

Of course, I love Sweetie Belle too, but she'll never compare to her older sister

Sweetie Belle is just being a kid who's gonna get learned. Rarity probably did nothing wrong so whatever she did got misinterpreted.
